Tempranillo Merlot Syrah, Abadia Mercier 'A', Spain, Juicy and fresh with red and black fruits, hints of smoke and spice and a long damson finish. Artolas, Vidigal, Lisboa, Portugal, Medium bodied with red cherry, floral and earthy notes, elegant spiciness and a delicate finish. Rioja, Navajas Tinto, Spain, Rich and fruity, with smooth vanilla flavours. Malbec, Los Haroldos Chacabuco, San Carlos, Mendoza, Argentina, Raspberry, plum and blackcurrant sit alongside aromatic wood, spice and smooth smoky tannins. Slightly cloudy Gruner with rounded grapey fruit and hints of white spice on the finish. 69 Ink, Judith Beck, Burgenland, Biodynamic blend of Zweigelt and St Laurent grapes. Fresh aromas, pronounced sour cherry-fruit, Christmas spices, cinnamon and cloves, with soft tannins. New Zealand 24 Sauvignon Blanc, Southern Dawn, Marlborough, Complex blackcurrant leaf, grapefruit and tropical fruit flavours, with a lengthy citrus finish. 70 Pinot Noir, Yealands, Marlborough, A full-bodied Pinot Noir with richness and texture, with black cherry, plum and violets and hints of savoury spice. The finish is long and firm. Chile 71 Cabernet Sauvignon, Long Country, Central Valley, Soft black and juicy red fruits with smooth tannins. Rounded, mellow and well balanced. Australia 25 Elizabeth Aged Semillon, Mt Pleasant, New South Wales Lively and fresh with rich lemon, lime and grapefruit notes enhanced by a refreshing acidity and a long lingering finish. 72 Cabernet/Shiraz, Fox Grove, South East, Soft and juicy with brambly fruit, spice and blackcurrants. The palate is round and soft and has a good finish.

Certified sustainable. 27 Chardonnay, MAN Family Wines, Western Cape, Melon, tropical and citrus fruits and a hint of butterscotch and oak. 73 Pinotage, Franschhoek Cellar, Stone Bridge, Western Cape, Soft and luscious with strawberry, red cherry and vanilla flavours and a touch of earthy spice. 74 Lourens River Valley, Morgenster, Western Cape, This blend of Merlot and Cabernet Franc starts with notes of lavender, thyme and hints of coffee. Then comes cassis, raspberry and rose. Full and elegant with a balance of fruit, wood and acidity. America 75 Old Vine Zinfandel, Scotto, Lodi, California, A nose of deep dark fruits and bitter chocolate leads to a full palate of spices and toffee. Smooth tannins and gentle acidity leads to a pleasing finish. 76 Columbia Valley, Syrah, Chateau St Michelle, Washington, Velvety texture, brimming with red and dark berry flavours. 18 months in oak barrels gives a smooth richness to this approachable, fruit-forward style.
