These fine and rare wines have been carefully chosen for their pedigree and quality. Kept at optimal freshness by using the revolutionary Coravin device which allows by the glass pours without pulling the cork and keeps the wine fresh for weeks. Aromas of pear drops, lemon and melon. Light and fresh on the palate with a clean finish. 373 Boisdale 1er Cru - Blanc de Noirs NV Georges Gardet, Chigny-les-Roses, Reims, France A classic Blanc de Noir: 50% Premier Cru Pinot Noir & 50% Premier Cru Meunier with a minimum of six years average bottle age. The result is a complex, elegant Champagne of real distinction. 353 Jenkyn Place Brut 2013 English Sparkling Wine Hampshire, England The nose is characterised by pure, bright citrus fruit, followed by a silky palate of tropical fruits, quince and baked bread. Freshness and precision of flavour is enhanced by a beautiful balancing acidity, giving this wine a harmonious mouthfeel with great persistence. 62% Chardonnay 24% Pinot Noir, 14% Meunier 354 Hoffmann and Rathbone Classic Cuvée 2013, WINE BUYER S FAVOURITE Sussex, England Made with the classic sparkling grapes Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Meunier, Hoffmann and Rathbone Classic Cuvée has been aged for 34 months in order to add toasty flavours. With citrus aromas on the nose and toasty flavours on the palate, this is an elegant sparkling wine with a fine mousse and a refreshing acidity. 344 Bollinger Special Cuvée Brut NV Aÿ, France One of the classic, full bodied style Grande Marque Champagnes with wonderful balance, fresh fruit character and toasted brioche notes. 501 Pommery Brut Royal NV Reims, France Brut Royal is wonderfully fresh & vivacious with great balance. Citrus & white flower notes combine with concentrated red berry flavours to produce a wine with great elegance, finesse & a complex finish.

A lovely long finish. 340 Piper Heidsieck NV Reims, France Piper Heidsieck's non-vintage Champagne aged in their Reims cellars for a fullbodied flavour. With a blend that's heavily Pinot dominant (both Noir & Meunier), it is a rich & full-bodied. 374 Boisdale Vintage Cuvée Speciale ml Glass: Georges Gardet, Chigny-les-Roses, Reims, France 70% Grand Cru Chardonnay & 30% Premier Cru Pinot Noir is another magnificent Champagne vintage. The nose is fresh with lively citrus notes; the palate reveals spiced vanilla with hints of white peppercorns & an intense minerality. 390 Veuve Clicquot Brut NV Reims, France These fresh yellow bubbles fizz with subtle white fruit, vanilla & toasty brioche. Expect to be impressed. 342 Piper Heidsieck Rare Vintage Reims, France Structured, full-bodied & bursting with fruit, this wine is a blend of 17 crus matured for over seven years in the house s cellars. The 2002 vintage is noted for its richness & generosity. 97 points Wine Spectator. 385 Krug Grande Cuvée NV Reims, France Krug remains at the very summit of Champagne-making. This is a Pinot dominated blend, still fermented in oak barrels & bottle-aged for a minimum of 6 years. Krug prefer to look on this wine as a multi-vintage blend with all of the complexities & nuances one would expect rather than merely non-vintage. 397 Krug Vintage Reims, France Rich, precise, complex & indulgent, the house of Krug wanted to create a vintage for the last year of the millennium. Known as Gourmandise Orageuse (Stormy Indulgence), this vintage brings together the complexity & generosity of a very exciting year. 387 Louis Roederer Cristal Reims, France One of the most luscious Champagnes ever made, this needs no further introduction.

The palate is surprisingly concentrated & delicious with an extremely fine & beautifully balanced finish. 376 Boisdale Vintage Cuvée Speciale Rosé Georges Gardet, Chigny-les-Roses, France This rosé is made using the skin contact method rather than the more commonly employed addition of still red wine. A wine worthy of its excellent vintage, which packs in red berry fruit flavours with elegant citrus notes. 394 Perrier-Jouët Blason Rosé NV Épernay, France Intense & delicate aromas, followed by subtle, floral notes of honeysuckle & wild strawberries on the palate. 378 Veuve Clicquot Rosé NV Reims, France Delicious, red fruit-flavoured fizz from a legendary house. Supremely quaffable & likely to arouse romantic notions in even the hardest of hearts. 339 Moet & Chandon Brut Imperial Rose NV Épernay, France The nose is inviting with aromas of fresh strawberries and crushed raspberries. Delicious and refreshing with a zesty citrus finish to balance the red fruit. Excellent wine to go with some of our fish dishes or great as an aperitif. 347 Ruinart Rose Brut NV Special offer by the glass and bottle: Reims, France We are delighted to offer this elegant and classic rose Champagne at such a friendly price to our regulars and members at Boisdale. It is perhaps one of the greatest non-vintage rose fizz on our list. It well worth trying. 348 Moet & Chandon Grand Vintage Rose Épernay, France A great vintage rose. The nose is fresh with aromas of cherries & blackberries. The palate is surprisingly concentrated & delicious with an extremely fine & beautifully balanced finish with a great mature taste from the 2009 vintage. 346 Bollinger Grande Annee Rose Aÿ, France We are happy to offer this legendary wine at this great price An extremely serious rosé champagne with good age on it already. Rich, bold and complex with a long memorable finish. Highly recommended. 379 Veuve Clicquot Rosé Reserve Vintage 2004/ Reims, France A delicious vintage rosé fizz from the maestros at Veuve Clicquot. Dependably brilliant, with a depth of flavour & rarely-found complexity.

An amazingly complex palate with refreshing & intense red fruit undertones. 384 Krug Rosé NV Reims, France Meticulously crafted from a selection of vintage cuvées, this is recognised as one of the finest rosé Champagnes in the world. Ideal with seafood, pates and canapes. 130 Crucillon Viura Blanco, Campo de Borja, Spain Pale yellow coloured with intense floral aromas. Crisp and delicate dry white with a refreshing finish. 133 Pinot Grigio Novita, Amori Veneto, Italy A crisp, dry wine made to a fuller style than is typical of this popular grape variety. Cool fermented for fruit and acid retention to create a youthful and refreshing wine. 140 Beaujolais Blanc, Domaine Pardon Beaujolais, Burgundy, France Refreshing light and elegant Southern Burgundy. One of our hidden gems. Ranald and the team loves it and it is indeed great with our summer fish dishes and as a refreshing aperitif. 101 Picpoul de Pinet Belardent Languedoc, France Crisp and refreshing with zesty citrus notes, it s perfect for drinking as an aperitif or to accompany seafood dishes. 102 Zapallares Riesling Casablanca Valley, Chile This lovely dry Riesling spends 2 to 3 months on its lees to add structure and flavours. The result is a fresh and perfumed wine with aromas of citrus, grapefruit, lime, apple and apricot. 109 Chateau des Antonins Blanc Bordeaux, France A classic Bordeaux Blanc blend of Sauvignon & Semillon that offers a very charming & very well balanced white. The nose combines citrus, exotic fruits & tasty brioche notes. Ruby red with lashings of ripe cherries, dried fruit & spice, light & fruity on the palate. 233 Vina Amate Rioja Crianza Rioja, Spain This stunning Rioja spends 12 months in oak barrels and another 12 months in bottle before release. Powerful nose with layers of black and red fruits, leading to a fruit driven palate with mineral and gentle oaky notes. 273 Chateau des Antonins 2015 Boisdale Claret Bordeaux Superieur, France A powerful and concentrated Claret from a family estate in the southern part of Graves. The blend is nearly 50/50 of Cabernet Sauvignon & Merlot and it has perfumed, cherry fruit aromas and a fine structure 258 Zapallares Pinot Noir Reserva San Antonio, Chile A harmonious wine with bright cherry and raspberry aromas and a hint of spice. There s even a hint of mineral & white pepper in the mix. This is a standout wine, a smart pick for the price. 284 Boekenhoutskloof, The Chocolate Block Stellenbosch, South Africa Complex red and black fruits on the nose with violets and white pepper. An incredibly opulent palate full of spicy black fruit and cocoa, fine tannins and a lingering finish. One of South Africa s most sought after wines from one of its top producers. 224 Terrazas Las Compuertas Malbec Mendoza, Argentina Elegant & balanced, with structured & silky tannins, the savoury Las Compuertas Malbec is produced in very limited quantities from grapes that come entirely from an exceptional vineyard. The single-vineyard wines of Terrazas de los Andes are only released in the best years and are made solely from fruits grown in the oldest, most treasured plots in Argentina s Mendoza region. 208 Mt. Brave Cabernet Sauvignon Mt. Veeder, Napa Valley, California, USA The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon is surprisingly accessible for a Mount Veeder Cabernet. Dark raspberries, flowers, mint & new leather flesh out this exciting wine. The density, richness & roundness displayed here makes for a beautifully balanced, harmonious wine from winemaker Chris Carpenter. 314 Barolo Azienda Agricole Pelassa, Piedmonte, Italy Complex nose with fresh crushed berries, violet and herbal notes. Velvety and rich on the palate with firm tannin and great length. A powerful wine. Highly recommended. Sommelier s choice. 280 Château Giscours ème Cru Classé, Margaux, Bordeaux, France A full powerful richness to the nose with notes of forest fruit and cassis; whilst still keeping that classic Margaux fragrance. Huge concentration of black fruit on the palate with juicy tannins that fill the mouth whilst the crisp acid cuts straight through the fruit and retains its remarkable freshness. 271 Chateau Calon Segur eme Crus, Saint-Estephe, Medoc, Bordeaux Calon-Ségur s 74 hectare vineyard is the most northern of all Médoc Grand- Cru Classés, just north of the village of St-Estèphe. Complexities of black cherry, currant as well as earthy truffles, feature on the nose and palate with good weight and moderate tannins.. On the palate aromas of summer flowers, strawberry notes and minerals. Light fresh and easy to drink. 190 M de Minuty, Côtes de Provence Rosé Château Minuty, Provence, : The aromatic harmony of Grenache, Cinsault and Syrah offers some notes of peach & candied orange with fresh wild strawberries. Pale pink in colour but dry and refreshing. This wine is made in the pure Minuty style, a combination of fresh, upfront natural fruit & intense flavours. 181 L Exuberance de Clos Cantenac Rosé 2016 ROSE OF THE MONTH: Bordeaux, France Magnum: Described as the rarest rosé on earth by Matthew Jukes. Easy on the eye with a beautifully pale, shimmering salmon pink hue, this rosé has a delicate nose & a palate that is as close to heaven as it gets! 182 Chateau D Aqueria Rosé, Tavel Rhône, France Arguably the most classic rose wine production area just opposite the Rhône River from Châteauneuf-du-Pape AOC. We had a long discussion with Ranald and we decided it would be foolish not to have a great Tavel rose on our list. Enjoy. 185 Miraval Rosé Provence, France A beautifully pale pink colour, with a nose of wild strawberry and stone fruit, with delicate floral touches. Great palate texture, with soft tangerine and peach notes joining layers of berry fruit. 11

Outstanding value and a truly exciting wine 1294 Blaufränkisch, Uwe Schiefer Sudburgenland, Austria Elegantly structured, floral start, with fresh, red cherry and crunchy black fruit notes and a lovely integrated minerality. Very pretty wine that should be enjoyed now. It is great with game birds or lighter red meats. Moulin de Duhart has several characteristics similar to the grand vin, but is more approachable in its youth. It should be enjoyed younger than its more robust counterpart. The origin of the name comes from the former presence of a windmill on the Carruades plateau, next to the Duhart-Milon vineyard. The vineyards have a high altitude, above the Douro Valley & were especially identified by iconic wine maker, Jorge Moreira for the purpose of making this wine. Light with lovely ripe, attractive rounded fruit. Fresh floral nose and an exciting acid balance. We love a 2 nd wine as they are not just exceptionally good value usually but ready to drink earlier and 2010 is just a great vintage to try now Clos Cantenac Grand Cru, Saint Emilion, Bordeaux, France 100% Merlot from 60+ year old vines, located adjacent to Chateau Angelus. Deep & rich with ripe red fruit flavours & a hint of spice that explodes powerfully in the mouth & lingers in an extremely long, rounded finish.

From old vines in the very northern part of the Medoc, this wine displays roasted coffee notes, black chocolate, creme de cassis, forest floor & tobacco leaf in a full-bodied, opulent, & flamboyant style. It exhibits the plush, silky tannins that are a signature of Michel Rolland. 310 Château Cantemerle ème Cru Classé, Haut-Médoc, Bordeaux, France The deep ruby-hued 2005 displays aromas of liquorice, roasted herbs, sweet cherries & flowers. In the mouth, the wine seems almost light in comparison with its peers, possessing an almost ethereal quality & an overall harmony. 280 Château Giscours ème Cru Classé, Margaux, Bordeaux, France A full powerful richness to the nose with notes of forest fruit and cassis; whilst still keeping that classic Margaux fragrance. Louis XIV. Classified first growth since 1732 in the legendary Tokaj region in Hungary (a Unesco World Heritage Site), Disznókõ produces unique sweet wines with perfect balance. The vinification of Tokaji Aszu is unique: the Noble Rot affected grapes are picked individually, then soaked in must or wine in the proportion determined by the number of "Puttonyos" (historical measure equivalent to one harvesting basket). Rich dishes (smoked foods, fish in batter, oysters, caviar) are the best served with dry wines. Because Fino is drier than other table wines it is the optimal match. A stunning amber colour with hints of orange, this wine has an intense nutty aroma of toasted hazelnuts & almonds with some spicy character on the palate. 507 Noe Pedro Ximénez 30 Years Old (37.5cl) Noe, Spanish for Noah, is one of the world s oldest & rarest dessert-wines. Made from the Pedro Ximénez (PX) grape, this wine has a dark mahogany colour with topaz & amber shades. It has a powerful bouquet, oozing heady aromas of concentrated raisins, figs, coffee & Christmas spices, finished with a taste of sweet, plump, cooked fruit. Delightful with dessert or poured over vanilla ice cream. Superb with chocolate, deserts with rich dried fruits & cigars.
