Bin Tim Adams Wines is a family owned and operated winery in the beautiful Clare Valley, South Australia. In 1993 tough times in the vineyards (due to shortage of Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon) prompted Tim to experiment with a parcel of old vine Grenache, from his neighbour and friend Bluey s block of land. This permanent grassing absorbs water and nutrients on the surface, thus forcing the vine roots to grow deep down below the surface. During the year they de-bud, strip and thin the vines by hand. Bin CHATEAU CISSAC CRU BOURGEOIS HAUT MEDOC Bordeaux, France 2000 A dense blackcurrant palate which is rounded and well balanced. Bin Chateau Cissac is a Cru Bourgeois which dates from 1769, located in the appellation of Haut-Médoc. For many years the property has belonged to the Vialard family producing wines from extensive vineyards from some of the finest terroir of Pauillac.
