1 Tapa Specific Dietary Requirement Menus We realised some time ago that Tapas lends itself very well to those with specific dietary requirements & that with only a small amount of change to how we prepared some of our dishes we could make most of our menu accessible to as many people as possible. We re really proud of our ability to deal with dietary requirements & as such if there is anything through out the menu that you are unsure of, please just ask. Similarly, we ve worked really hard training all our staff to be as knowledgeable as they can possibly be about all our dishes, but, if they don t know something it only takes a quick question to the Chef to find a definitive answer. 2 Tapa Menú para Veganos /Vegan Menu Tablas Ibéricas/ Sharing Plates Our Tablas Ibéricas section of the menu is sharing plates that we recommend to have with a Glass of Sherry to gently start your experience with us, they used to be all meat & cheese but we recently stumbled on this awesome recipe for a Vegan Pate & that we think you re going to love! It goes superbly with a glass of Olorosso Sherry! Paté de Champiñones ~Homemade Mushroom & Sherry Pate~ We re super proud of this dish, it s Vegan, Gluten Free & Lactose Free, but, above everything it s just a really great dish! Served with Gluten Free Nairn s Oatcakes Para Picar / To Get You Going In addition to ordering one of our Tablas, to start you may also want to kick off with Pan 2.00 per Person Unfortunately, we don t offer complimentary bread in Tapa, but that s because we have our own AMAZING bread! 3 Parrillada de Espárragos y Cebolletas 7.25 Asparagus Spears & Whole Spring Onions, Char Grilled & Adorned with Romesco Sauce # Every year between November & April in Tarragona, Catalonia, there is an annual event that celebrates the harvest of the Calçots ( kinda large onion things!). At the Calçotada the Calçots are BBQ d & Dipped in Romesco Sauce (an Almond & Red Pepper Sauce) & then eaten from a height! It s so messy you re given a bib! Anyway, we enjoyed our experience at Calçotada so much that we thought we d do our own take on it!# Ensalada Verde Fresh Chopped Green Salad of Cos Lettuce & Spinach Leaves Tossed with Spring Onions, Celery, Cucumber & a Lemon Vinaigrette Patatas Bravas Crisp, Red Rooster Potatoes with Traditional Spicy Tomato Salsa Patatas a lo Pobre Pan Fried, Thinly Sliced Potatoes, Tossed with Onion, Garlic & Peppers Postres/ Desserts Churros con Chocolate 3.95 A Moorish Dessert, Designed to be Shared BetweenTwo, If You Can! Lightly Sugared Pastries with a Delicious Molten Hot Chocolate Dipping Sauce- this sauce is made from milk and cocoa powder that doesn t contain any milk products, please just ask for us to make it with Soya Milk for you instead (or Golden Syrup if you d prefer) Café/ Coffees & Teas We have an Espresso Machine & we always have Soya Milk in the restaurant, so, we can make any Coffee that you d like with Soya instead or milk, please just ask! #Fin# 2

All our Tablas are served on a Spanish Olive Wood Board with Romani Rosemary & Cheese Biscuits from Mallorca- which you can t have, so, please ask for your s to be served with Nairns Gluten Free Oatcakes Jamón y Queso ~Platter of Spanish Jamón & Manchego Cheese~ (8) Wafer Thin Slices of Jamón Ibérico de Bellota (the highest grade of Jamón, cured for at least three years) from Simon Martin ( pronounced See-mon Mar-teen- imagine a Spaniard saying it, rather than just Simon Martin!) from Guijuelo in Salamanca & (4) Slices of La Tradición Semi Cured Manchego Cheese (a super creamy Manchego that has been cured for 90 days and has received the quality controlled Denominación de Origen Manchego Stamp) Tabla Variada ~Platter of Really Interesting, Different Artisanal Meats from Spain~ (2)Wafer Thin Slices of Cecina de León (an oak smoked, mountain- air cured beef (from cattle 15 years or older) that was winner of three stars at the Great Taste Awards 2010 ),(2) Slices of Sobrasada (a Chorizo made by Embutidos de Munar- a family business since in Mallorca, where the semitropical, balmy climate means that they can t fully air cure their meat, as a result Sobrasada is a really soft, almost paté-esq style of Chorizo), (4) Mini Fuets (a mildly spiced cured sausage similar to Italian Salami), (4) Mini Chorizos ( which do exactly what they say on the tin & are super addictive- seriously we haven t stopped eating them since they came in!) & (4) Slices of Magret de Pato Curado (a stunning air cured duck breast from Embutidos Melsa in Graus (a small village in the Pyrenees) from selected free-range Moulard ducks. A Star Winner at the Great Taste Awards 2016) Tabla de Quesos ~Platter of Artisanal Spanish Cheeses~ (3) Slices of La Tradición Semi Cured Manchego Cheese, (3) Slices of J. Aranburu Smoked Idiazabal Cheese (made from the unpasteurized milk of the distinctive Basque Latxa Sheep & long cured for four months before being lightly smoked- this cheese was a winner of a Super Gold Award at the World Cheese Awards in 2015), (3) Slices of San Simón (a creamy cow s milk cheese from Queixo Prestes in Villalba, Lugo, that is Smoked over Birchwood in a Traditional Galician Smokehouse) & (1) Slice of Moluengo Cheese (a fantastic, soft goat s milk cheese- that we fell in love with when we first sampled itmade by Juan Luis Abellan in Villamalea, Albacete (La Rueda), that is rolled (in the tradition of the area) in vegetable ash to preserve it) Paté de Champiñones ~Homemade Mushroom & Sherry Pate~ We re super proud of this dish, it s Vegan, Gluten Free & Lactose Free, but, above everything it s just a really great dish! 5 Tapas para Todos! Although a pre-requisite for tables of eight or more people, our Large Party Tapas para Todos! Menu also offers brilliant value to smaller groups ( just saying!) Starting with Artisanal Spanish Bread & Dips & Air Cured Spanish Meats, each person in your party can choose Two Tapas dishes each that we ll serve accompanied by sharing plates of our most popular tapas- Berenjenas con Miel, Patatas Bravas y Alioli & Ensalada Verde. And, once you ve finished all that, Chef has devised a Stunning Trio of Desserts- a Homemade Lemon Cheesecake, Pistachio Macaroon & Salted Caramel Truffle, that are the perfect way to round off your meal with us! 20 por Persona Sunday to Thursday & 25 por Persona Friday & Saturday For further details & or to order, please just ask your wait person! Carnes/ Meat Pollo al Infierno Boneless Chicken Thighs ( Easily the Best Part of the Chicken in Our Opinion!) Baked Slowly in a Chorizo Enriched, Piquant Tomato Sauce Carnes Ibericas/ Meat Specially Sourced from Spain Tortilla con Sobrasada Presa # If Iberico is to Pork what Wagyu is to Beef, then Presa is your Fillet Steak! Ok, so, it s not from the corresponding part of the animal- Presa sits beneath the shoulder & loin of the Iberian Black Pig- but, by allowing the Pig to forage freely amongst the dehesas (the forests of acorns) that surround Salamanca, we re afforded a stunning piece of meat that is- not only- tender & well marbled, but, also wonderfully nutty ( from all those acorns, see!) & exactly like a piece of red meat!# So with this in mind we Griddle it only to Medium Rare- at pink the flavour of the meat is just AMAZING- & Glaze it with a Red Wine Reduction Secreto 6.75 Traditional Spanish Potato & Onion Omelette, but, with the Added Swagger of Layers of Munar Sobrasada (a Soft, Pâté Style of Chorizo from Mallorca) & La Tradición Semi Cured Manchego Cheese Morcilla de Burgos 6.75 # Morcilla is Spanish Black Pudding, but, Morcilla de Burgos is quite different from the Black Pudding you re used to! Our Morcilla is from Rios, a family owned business since 1930 & is, unusually, enriched with rice & cumin, that makes for an incredibly subtle Black Pudding that is a must- even if you re normally a bit hesitant about trying Black Pudding for the first time!# Anyway, back to the dish We Pan Fry our Morcilla, Rest it on a Bed of Caramelised Red Onions, Top it with Fried Quail s Eggs & Dust with La Dalia Pimientón de La Vera (Spicy Paprika) Carrilladas Cheeks of Iberian Black Pig, Braised Slowly in Red Wine & Adorned with Flakes of Almonds #So if Presa is akin to Fillet Steak, it s sister cut Secreto would be your Rib- Eye. It sits just behind Presa on the Iberian Black Pig & has much more marbling, but, this nutty fat only serves to create an incredible, almost buttery texture to the meat when Griddled.# To Compliment this we adorn our Secreto with Romesco Sauce (an Almond & Red Pepper Sauce from Tarragona, Catalonia) & a Quenelle of Homemade Mushroom & Sherry Paté Please turn over for more dishes 4
