And each and every bottle is batch numbered and personally signed by the still master. Founders Barry Young and Prentiss Orr. Behind the Name Boyd & Blair was named for the company founders patriarchs. Boyd was Barry Young s father-in-law. Blair was Prentiss Orr s great-grandfather. Each were men who shared a passion for hard work and well-deserved relaxation. 3

We use no computers and no automation. From creating our own mash to sealing and signing every bottle, we do it all. The result is a classic vodka meant to be savored one sip at a time. THE ORIGINAL FLAVORED VODKA: Boyd & Blair is made only from locally grown potatoes. Why potatoes? For one, they yield a slightly sweeter vodka. For two, only a classic vodka is made from potatoes. Sure, they cost more than grains. But if you want to make a great vodka, you spare no expense. THE HEART OF THE MATTER: For every single batch of vodka, there are three parts produced. The first part is called the heads. These toxic, bitter alcohols are discarded. The hearts flow next. Naturally sweet, ours are collected one batch at a time. The final part is the tails. Most distillers recycle these musty alcohols to increase their yield. Not Boyd & Blair. We bottle only the hearts. 5
