3 Lakeside Country Club Welcome to Lakeside Country Club. We are as well known for our Asian Weddings as we are for being an iconic Entertainment and Sporting Venue. This hidden gem is where the journey starts, giving you the venue to create the wedding of your dreams. Sited next to a lake, with two hotels in the same grounds plus two suites licensed for civil weddings, we feel sure we can help you with your special day. With over 25 years of hosting Asian Weddings, we know that space is important and we are proud to offer one of the largest rooms in Surrey. Our team of professionals are on hand to ensure that everything from the booking stage through to the event itself will be a wonderful experience. 4 OUR BASIC SUITE HIRE CHARGES INCLUDE: Cabaret Suite Suite hire from 9:00am until midnight One Lakeside supervisor Security staff (as required by local by-laws) Up to 80 Round Tables and chairs Free Car Parking One dressing room Basic suite lighting (Chandeliers and various decorative lights) One x basic microphone and stand Use of kitchen for warming and frying food Use of smoking marquee For parties of over 800 we can convert the table plan using up to 100 refectory(oblong) tables at an additional charge. Canal Suite Suite hire from 9:00am until midnight One Lakeside supervisor One small dressing room Security staff (as required by local by-laws) Up to 35 Round Tables and chairs Free Car Parking Basic suite lighting One x basic microphone and stand Use of kitchen for warming and frying food Please note that in the event of wishing to import alcohol an additional charge is levied.
5 Table Settings Lakeside offers the freedom for you to use your own catering company and decorators but we can supply table settings if required at an additional cost. Place setting per meal Dinner plate, side plate, spoon and fork or knife and fork wrapped in a serviette. Cup and saucer - Drinking glasses per meal 0.30p per glass per meal All service place settings are subject to VAT at the current rate. All breakages will be charged Alcoholic Beverages If you wish to use our Pay as you go system, our bars can be open and staffed by Lakeside. However, should you wish to import your own alcoholic drinks, i.e. mobile bar dispensing beer from barrels and/or bottles of spirit/wines etc. an additional charge will be incurred. Conditions for use of Lakeside Kitchens Our kitchens may only used for warming food and we can provide fryers. Caterers must provide their own cooking oil. Outside caterers need to provide their own kitchen porters and all rubbish must be removed from all areas, including the function suite, before departing after the function. We regret that due to health and safety regulations, use of our servery area is not permitted. Lakeside reserves the right to change prices without notice.
6 A Bond of Lakeside require the payment of a bond of for the use of the kitchens as described above. This must be paid with the final settlement figure. This bond is fully refundable if our conditions are met in full. However, we may retain all or part if our terms & conditions are not adhered to. Additional Conditions a) Lakeside is situated close to a residential area so in deference to our neighbours we regret to inform you that the ceremonial drums are restricted to just outside the main cabaret suite foyer and in the foyer itself and the sounding of horns is strictly forbidden. b) The use of rose petals/confetti is not permitted. c) Any children in attendance must be supervised at all times and are under the direct responsibility of the hirer. Use of the balcony in the Cabaret Suite is permitted but not available to children. Health & Safety and Insurance The kitchens must be kept in a clean and tidy state at all times. All outside contractors and their personnel must adhere to Lakeside Health & Safety Policy and must submit a risk assessment document and current insurance certification at least two weeks before the event. It is the duty of any outside caterer to produce for inspection certificates of assessment for any substances, which are hazardous to health, being used on site in his work process, in accordance with the COSHH. Direct interference in the activities of the outside caterer by Lakeside personnel is to be avoided. However, if an outside caterer is considered to be employing unsafe working practices, the matter is to be reported. Outside caterers should be suitably certificated and carry their own third party insurance against any accidents or injuries arising whilst on Lakeside premises.
