2 MERSEA ISLAND VINEYARD The Marquee on our Vineyard Lawn, surrounded by the vines, offers probably the most unique and desirable setting in Essex, for your wedding reception. Available between April and mid September. Banqueting facilities for up to 130 guests. Evening reception for up to 200 guests. Our own *Hog Roast. Apart from using our Hog Roast and Bar and Drinks Package, an option of which is personalized labels on our range of still wines, we offer complete flexibility in all of your wedding reception requirements. Your Choices Our own Catering or the Caterer of your choice. The Table Linen, Crockery and Cutlery supplier of your choice. The entertainment of your choice. Decorate the marquee using your own florist or wedding planner.

Oblong tables are available as an alternative top table. Fully staffed Bar. Large area for your entertainment and dancing. Catering area with preparation tables, six burner cooker, etc. Quartz ray heating for those chilly days.

5 Complimentary Wine Bottle Labels To make your day special and to give your reception the ultimate personalization, we are able to offer to you complimentary bottle labels on all of the Mersea Island Vineyard produced still wines that you may choose for your wedding. The labels are specially produced for you with the name of the Bride and Groom, together with the date of your Wedding. This offer is carried out Free of Charge to you as part of your drinks package. 7 Drinks Package & Bar Prices January 2012 Please note that Item 7 of our Terms and Conditions applies. Our drinks package encompasses all guests at your wedding breakfast. The package includes Bucks Fizz or Pimms or orange juice as a welcome drink, house red or white wine with the wedding breakfast, (based on two glasses of still wine per person) and bottled still and sparkling water on the table, plus 1 glass per person of Mersea Island Sparkling wine for the toasts. All to be served by your own caterer. Inclusive price of per person. Typical Bar Prices: Draught Beers 3.50 per pint. Magners Cider 3.50 per bottle. Gin, Whisky, Vodka, Rum and Bacardi 2.50 per 25ml. Brandy and Liqueurs from 3.00 Soft drinks 1.00 Red & White Wines 3.50 per 125ml Glass or per 75cl bottle. Sparkling Wine 4.00 per 125ml Glass or per 75cl bottle. The White Wines that we supply are Mersea Island Vineyard Wines, the Reds are either Italian or Chilean. Any special requirements for wines can be catered for by prior arrangement. Any special Bar requirements can be supplied by prior arrangement. Prices stated were current on January 1 st Prices may be subject to alteration after this date. Our own fully trained Bar Staff. Drinks packages and personalized labels are to be ordered and paid for at the time of returning the Booking Details form to us, which must be no later than 2 weeks before the event date.

This serves a maximum of 100 people. Additional numbers are charged at 5.00 per person. To go with your Hog Roast at the cost of 1.50 per person:- 5 floured Bap. Sage and onion stuffing. Apple sauce per person:- Baby leaf salad. Rice salad with roasted peppers. Tomato & onion salad. Pasta salad tossed with herbs & dressing. Hot or cold new potatoes per person:- Cheesecake or Chocolate gateaux Served with fresh cream The Hog Roast is served as a buffet style meal. Our staff will serve you from the buffet table. (Current price March 2012)

Service area with sink, running water, stainless steel preparation tables & 6 burner cooker. Electricity for equipment and entertainment. Tables and chairs on patio. Large floodlight car park area. The Venue cost for 2013 & 2014 is The Civil Ceremony cost for 2013/2014 will be in addition to the Registrar s fee.

10 MERSEA VINEYARD LTD Wedding Reception Package TERMS & CONDITIONS April Mersea Vineyard Ltd. will only be liable for loss or damage to property caused by its negligence. The hirer assumes responsibility for equipment, vehicles and person effects belonging to them and their guests during the hire period. The hirer will be responsible to make good any damage caused by them to the property of Mersea Vineyard Ltd.: because of this the hirer must obtain appropriate insurance cover. 2. Our insurance only offers cover for the services we provide; all other outside services such as entertainers, caterers and other service providers must produce to Mersea Island Vineyard, proof of their public liability insurance, not less than 4 weeks prior to the event. 3. Access to the venue is restricted to mid-day on the day prior to the event, with the venue being cleared by 12 mid-day on the day following the event. It may be possible to extend these times according to other bookings, but any additional period will be charged for. The venue is to be left as found, ie. fully clean and tidy, with particular reference to the kitchen area. All refuse is to be removed. Mersea Vineyard Ltd offer to carry out the cleaning and removal of waste for an additional charge as per our current price list. 4. We strongly recommend that the appropriate insurances be taken out to protect payments to relevant suppliers in the event of a cancellation. 5. The maximum number of people for the reception is 120, with up to 200 people for an evening reception or finger buffet event. 6. Our entertainment and alcohol license requires the bar to close at 11.15pm and the music to cease at 11.30pm, with the venue being vacated by midnight. 7. All alcoholic and other beverages, apart from tea and coffee served with the wedding breakfast, must be supplied by Mersea Island Vineyard. Alcoholic or other beverages not purchased from Mersea Island Vineyard are not permitted to be consumed at the venue. Mersea Island Vineyard will provide glasses for the reception arrival, wedding breakfast and toasts, with bar drinks being served in semi rigid plastic glasses.

11 8. The hirer is responsible for hiring their own choice of caterers, entertainers and service providers. Mersea Island Vineyard will be pleased to advise you of caterers, entertainers and service providers that may be suitable for your event. Mersea Island Vineyard reserves the option of being the supplier of a Hog or Lamb Roast. 9. The hirer or caterer is responsible for the removal from the venue of any left over food and food waste and leaving the venue and the equipment in a clean and tidy condition. Caterer s access to the Vineyard can be obtained from 9am on the day of hire; all equipment must be removed on the same day. Mersea Vineyard Ltd will only be liable for loss or damage to property caused by its negligence, the caterer is responsible for their equipment during the hire period Entertainer s equipment may not be bought onto the premises until the day of hire. Entertainers are required to liaise with Mersea Island Vineyard regarding the use of specialist equipment, power sources etc. Mersea Vineyard Ltd. Will only be liable for loss or damage to property caused by its negligence, the entertainer is responsible for their equipment during the hire period. Amplified sound system speakers must face towards the South, (towards the sea), in order to minimize noise nuisance to neighbors. Excessive levels of noise will not be permitted. 11. Glitter/confetti bombs and ball games are not permitted 12. Smoking is only permitted in the designated areas. No smoking in any other parts of the venue. The supply or use of illegal substances will not be tolerated. 13. Fireworks and pyrotechnics are not permitted at the venue. 14. Guide dogs or assistance dogs only are permitted at the venue. 15. A non refundable deposit of is required to secure your chosen date, with the balance due 12 weeks before the event. Non payment of the balance will be deemed cancellation. Cancellation by the hirer following the full payment must be made in writing and will incur the following charges: 10 weeks before the event date: 50% of the total hire charge, 8 weeks before the event date: 75% of the total hire charge, 6 weeks before the event date: 100% of the total hire charge. 16. Drinks packages, with details of personalized labels and the Hog Roast package must be ordered and paid for at the time of returning the Booking Details form to the Vineyard, which must be no less than 2 weeks before the event date.
