6 Tasting Menu For Charity Join us on Feb 22 and enjoy a delicious Tasting Menu created by Chef Lucas Hinck. We will donate a portion of the sales from this event to Running with Scissors in memory of Karen Pfaffenbach. We are pleased to announce the appointment of Lucas Hinck as Head Chef at Angelico s Lake House. With a resume that includes positions at local fine dining restaurants as well as chef positions in New York City, Lucas brings a varied experience of cooking to the Lake House. We d like to celebrate his arrival with a Tasting Menu Party on Sunday Feb 22 from 4:00-8:00PM. To introduce Lucas to our guests, he has prepared an outstanding menu that gives a sampling of his creative talents and his belief of bringing a more casual and fun approach to fine dining As part of the event we will donate a portion of all sales to Running With Scissors. In April 2013, we lost a friend, Karen Pfaffenbach, to heart disease. Had she known the signs she would have sought treatment. It is the mission of Running with Scissors to raise awareness of the unique symptoms that women experience, in hopes that this may save others.in memory of Karen, a portion of the proceeds of this event will be donated to the Women s Heart Wellness Center at the Hospital of Central Connecticut.
