6 Beer Tastings From Our Nouveau Cellar DO A BLIND BEER TASTING AND CHALLENGE YOUR BEER KNOWLEDGE! Our Nouveau Cellar offers the unique experience of BEER TASTING all our draught beers. Each beer has been well-described and defined so that you may savour each mouthful and identify the flavours ascribed to each of the beers you have chosen. The number in brackets behind each beer is the Beer Tasting Number. This number is also placed on the underside of your glass of beer. This enables you to identify which of our 22 draught beers on tap it is that you are enjoying. This number also gives you the opportunity to blind taste your beer. Challenge your palate and see if you can identify which beer it is that you are drinking before checking the number on the underside of your glass. Reading the descriptions of the beers will give you the guidelines you need to help you identify the flavours and the nuances of each differently crafted beer. You may select as many or as few as you like of our local tasters, craft and imported tasters. Alcohol 5.4% CBC Amber Weiss Bier (7) A German-style craft amber beer, fruity and aromatic banana ester and a slight hint of clove is noticed in the finishing. Since our Amber Weiss is only slightly hopped, no more than a light bitterness is noticeable in the finish.
