2 About Us With a love of barbeque and people, Doug Ward started It s the Pits in He started in a Food Trailer on Rt. 8 of Stevensville. After a couple of years the business expanded and he needed a bigger space. January 2007 Doug opened the storefront location also in Stevensville which expanded It s the Pits not only into a wonderful carry-out restaurant but also opened the doors to becoming a strong catering business. Our meats are custom smoked low n slow with the perfect combination of fruit wood and dry spices, always served with It s the Pits custom sauces on the side. Our salads, sauces, rubs and recipes are all homemade in house. Some of our recipes go back three generations. We cook our food with the love and dedication that our grandmothers and mothers taught us. Our catering staff can do it all! Over the last five years we have developed strong teams and friendships that compliment the style of catering It s the Pits is proud of. We want your event to have professionalism, precise details and organization, smooth transition with a catering staff that will smile and make your event warm and welcoming. Catering Packages: Pick-up, Delivery & Setup, Full Catering We will personalize your catering package to fit your needs! Pick-up Package Order your menu a week or more ahead of your event. On the day of your event we will have your menu hot & ready for pick-up at your desired time. If you need picnic supplies, serving utensils, baskets, etc we can provide them for you with a price per-person. Delivery Package Order your menu a week or more ahead of your event. We can deliver your menu, hot & ready to eat at your desired time. We set up the food and equipment (if needed). We leave everything set-up neat and organized. Your responsibility is to enjoy the food and then return the equipment in the next 48 hours after the event. Local Delivery $30 charge; Non Local $40+milage charge. *If you cannot return the equipment, we can help out with a same day pick-up for locals only, an extra $30 pick-up charge. Full Catering Package- Let us make your event less stressful and less work for you. Each event varies. We can provide buffet service, drink stations, bar service, appetizer station, cake cutting, table/chair set-up and break-down, clean up and table bussing, trash haul and more. Pricing is determined by the size of the event and needs of our service. All prices are subject to change. Based on suppliers goods.
