3 T H E C O U N T Y L I N E Lennon Police Dept. News P A G E 3 By: Lennon Police Chief Ian Zoll On behalf of the Lennon Police Department, I would like to congratulate Sergeant Jim Carlson on his new job. It is with much regret he will no longer be available to work with the Lennon Police Department. Over the past three years, Sgt. Carlson has been a vital asset to our Department. His training and experience will be greatly missed, and a key addition to the Genesee County Park Rangers. Sgt. Carlson was always willing to come into work early or stay late if needed, and I know he will continue this work ethic as he transitions to Genesee County Parks. I hope that Genesee County Parks has an opportunity to not only benefit from his wealth of experience as an Officer, but also his wit and humor that lightened up the atmosphere in our Department. Reporting Suspicious Activity: The police can not function effectively without the assistance of responsible citizens. We need your help in reporting suspicious activity. We encourage everyone to call the police IMMEDIATELY if Lennon Lions News they feel a situation or circumstance is suspicious. Examples: Someone needing police, fire or medical assistance Alarms sounding or glass being broken. Someone loitering around cars or peering into them. Slow moving vehicles driving aimlessly. Apparent business transactions being conducted from a vehicle. Abandoned vehicle parked on your block. Someone is seen with a weapon. Someone loitering, entering or leaving a business after hours. Dial as soon as you witness suspicious activity. Call the Lennon Police at (810) if you have any questions. Thank you.
