2 The Okra Grill was established by the Page family in Our intent was to provide the best value (mostly) Southern food in the Charleston area. Our methodology was simple: Buy the best quality groceries and work hard to prepare them correctly. Angus Beef is a cut above USDA Prime, Choice and Select. Ten quality standards ensure the brand s premium Beef brand. We spend extra because we want your ribeye to be tender and tasty, we want your burger (not daily) to be the best tasting and safest product you can eat. We do not and will not use hamburger... who knows what s in it? We wouldn t eat it or serve it to you. Our steak that we cut and tenderize in house. Seafood. Almost everyone advertises fresh seafood. Does that mean fresh never frozen or caught fresh then frozen? We serve fresh, local seafood when available: IQF (individually quick frozen) usually on the vessel that product from Alabama or Mississippi. We want to provide our customers great tasting products from the safest providers and sustainable species at reasonable prices. Second, we look to buy whatever is grown locally and in season... usually this will be the best tasting and best value for you. If you ve read this far, we hope you infer that we care!
