1 NGWENYA LODGE SHAREHOLDER NEWSLETTER DECEMBER Dear Valued Ngwenya Shareholder We find ourselves at the end of a very momentous year and at the start of the Festive Season. We hope that you get the opportunity to spend this time with your loved ones and that you are refreshed, renewed and ready to go into. For now allow us to update you on the latest and greatest developments at your Resort. The Latest and Greatest From the moment you set your eyes on your Diamond at the Kruger you will see that we ve been busy the second half of. The Entrance of the Resort has received a garden makeover, including planting several succulent plants and establishing a rock garden. This not only looks great, but is another way for us to work economically with water; which is important to us as large parts of the country continue to struggle with drought. The Welcome Wall at Reception has also taken on a new look, with modern cladding just to keep Ngwenya looking fresh and staying with the times. Once you make your way into Reception, you will see our friendly staff are sporting brand new uniforms. Our Housekeeping staff are especially noticeable on the resort with their new attire, which is in a crisp, fresh green. What else have we been up to? Three of the Resort Swimming Pools have been renovated and now boast new Marbelite surfacing. Besides this, all the of the Pools have received brand new pool lounger cushions perfect for when you just want to soak-up some sun or relax after a refreshing dip in the crystal clear waters. As an on-going project, several carports are in the process of being restored. We will continue restoring the remaining carports as time goes by; but as always we will update you with the progress we are making. In the mid-year update, we mentioned that we experienced extreme weather conditions during Tropical Storm Dineo. Unfortunately, several of our Bat Hotels/Boxes were damaged in her wake. But we have started replacing them with new Bat Boxes and plan to introduce more Hotels in the coming months. From the outside to inside, replacement of the Chalet curtains has been approved and we will be implementing this over a period of time. We will update you on the progress of this exciting venture. And finally, in addition to the current and on-going refurbishments, attention will be given to the re-upholstering of chairs and replacement of lampshades in the coming year.

We ll continue to feature them in the upcoming newsletters and/or on Social Media. The Breitenbach Family sent in this picture of a lion kill outside their Chalet, in September. One of our Shareholders, Mr Sakkie Breitenbach and his family had an incredible encounter during their week in September. In front of their Chalet (), six lions chased a herd of impala. One of the impala ran straight into the jaws of a crocodile and the lions saw this as an opportunity to take the antelope from the crocodile, which they did and then ate the impala. The footage of this video can be found on Ngwenya s YouTube channel (www. youtube.com/user/ngwenyalodgesa). The Langmead Family enjoying their week at their Diamond at the Kruger, Chalet. DID YOU KNOW? Some Interesting Resort Facts: By now, most of our shareholders and guests are aware that Ngwenya Lodge likes to make special days, special occasions. But do you know the details behind this? Here are some interesting facts for you: MOTHER S DAY: We served litres of sherry, litres of sparkling wine, litres of fruit juice and presented engraved cutting boards to the mothers checking-in. FATHER S DAY: We served cases of beer, litres of ice-cream, bottles of sparkling wine and gave cutting boards to the fathers checking-in. WOMEN S DAY: We served litres of ice-cream, bottles of sweet sparkling wine and bottles of brut sparkling wine; and gave badges to all the special ladies that checked-in. Le Fera Restaurant also baked stiletto cupcakes, using g of flour, g of sugar, two litres of milk, eggs, g of butter, ml of vanilla essence, mg of baking powder,

3 mg of cocoa powder, g of icing sugar, wafers sticks, Boudoir biscuits, mg sprinkles, butterfly toppers and flower toppers all to celebrate the lovely ladies at Ngwenya Lodge. SPRING DAY: Each guest received an indigenous pot plant; we gave away a Porkbush plants and a Sour Fig plants. QUICK RECIPE FOR AWESOME NGWENYA TOASTIES There is nothing quite as delicious as a toasted sarmie or braaibroodjie, as a braai side. One of our valued Shareholders, Ms Olga Kruger (from Kimberley) shared her ultimate toastie recipe with us. She recommends enjoying it with breakfast, during a picnic or as a side when braai ing and the best place to enjoy it, according to her, is along the River at your home-away-from home. Ingredients: slices of white or brown bread Margarine or butter tablespoons of garlic, crushed - Tomatoes, sliced slices of ham (substitute: beef/chicken) Cheddar cheese (or cheese of choice), sliced Salt and pepper to taste medium onion, finely chopped large pan large pot with lid, filled with water Method:. Combine the butter/margarine with the crushed garlic.. Butter all sides of the sliced bread (inside and outside).. Place the sliced cold meat, tomato, a little bit of finely chopped onion, and cheese slices on a slice of bread. Season with salt and pepper and then cover with another slice of bread; do this with the rest of the slices.. On a medium heat, warm the pan, place two sandwiches next to each other on the pan. Place the pot filled with water on top of the sandwiches to flatten them (like a snack-wich machine). Turn in the pan until both sides are golden brown and the cheese melted. Do this with all of the sandwiches; so that they all become the perfect toasties.. Enjoy immediately with the rest of your braai items, or the next day with leftovers. SOMETHING YUMMY FOR YOUR TUMMY! Le Fera Restaurant had such a successful run with the Mom s Night Off Campaign that ran earlier this year that we decided to continue with the initiative! If you missed it we basically treat mom and dad to a delicious three course meal on a Tuesday night, at a set price, while we look after the kids keeping them occupied with lots of fun, yummy food and good times. Although the menu changes every quarter, we thought we would share some of what appeared on the Menu imagine a delicious trio of soups, stuffed mushrooms, succulent pork belly, flavoursome bunny chows, just-out-of-the-oven spinach and feta lasagne, cheesecakes, classic tiramisu and crème brûlée to name but a few. And the Kiddie s Menu yummy burgers, hotdogs, or pizzas and some awesome entertainment too! With the guests loving this so much, we decided to keep finding ways to offer our diners great value for money and fantastic experiences at Le Fera don t forget to check out Le Fera Restaurant the next time you visit. 4 The Fun Times Roll On Ngwenya Lodge continues to do all we can to make sure the whole family has fun when staying with us. During school holidays our activities include pizza making, t-shirt painting, cookie decoration, Ngwenya s Got Talent, Rhino art, tug-of-war and puzzles; to traditional games like wheelbarrow races and eggand-spoon sprints and more We will continue to update our holiday programmes to accommodate all of our guests and make sure that the Diamond at the Kruger that you have loved and cherished for years remains the place where your heart lies. IMPORTANT NOTICES Until Please note that our VRS Head Office will be closed from the th of December to the nd of January. We will return for business as usual on the rd of January. From to December there will be a skeleton staff available to deal with urgent enquiries; however we do expect high call volumes and ask that you please contact us before then for general enquiries. Levy payments: Levies must be paid in terms of the Use Agreement and no occupation or usage of any form is allowable until the levies have been paid. (This applies to usage, spacebanking, renting etc. of the timeshare week.) For one achieving Diamond status at the RCI OSCAS, for being the Top Gold Crown Resort for three years in a row, is an incredible feat! Then there are all the areas we updated and upgraded and the fun we implemented. But mostly, it was an incredible year because it was another year shared with you, our valued Shareholders.
