Above all, it is the genuine warm welcome and delicious food which makes a visit during the festive period an especially memorable time, whether celebrating with friends, family or work colleagues. If you are not looking for something private then join us in our restaurant/bar to enjoy either our festive or a la carte menu, or come along to one of our shared Party Nights. Throughout December we will continue to serve our traditional Sunday Lunches, but book early to avoid disappointment. The bar & terrace Pop into our cosy Bar and Terrace Lounge to enjoy a warming glass of mulled wine, a delicious warm mince pie or a festive Afternoon Tea.

3 Festive Lunches Our festive menu is available for lunch throughout December in The Dining Room and Bar for individual diners. Should you wish to hire a private room for a group lunch we have our lovely Garden and Alfriston Suites available at a private room hire fee. Or have a look at our inclusive private dining packages that include all you need for a successful event. Make sure you bring along a camera to get some great shots of your group with our Photo booth-style Dressing Up Station. 4 Private dining & parties Arrange a private lunch, dinner or party in one of our beautiful function rooms and celebrate with our festive menu. Our Garden Suite offers panoramic views of the gardens and South Downs and is ideal for smaller functions. This suite can accommodate up to 50 guests for a sit-down meal and is located near the main bar. Our largest room, the Alfriston Suite, enjoys magnificent views of the South Downs and surrounding landscape. This suite will accommodate 120 guests for a sit-down meal or up to 100 with a dance floor and also features its own bar inside of the room, perfect for keeping your guests with you for the whole evening. We want your planning process to be as simple as possible, which is why we have created two packages for you to choose from for your private Christmas celebration. 5 CHRISTMAS WREATH MAKING The perfect event to get you in the Christmas spirit. Come along and learn how to make a festive wreath in time for Christmas with experienced floral designer & Floral International s editor Nina Tucknott. You will be working with conifer and spruce as well as a host of festive fayre including cinnamon, orange slices and cones. As well as your 2 hour class, you ll enjoy a lovely 2 course festive meal in our award winning restaurant The Dining Room. At the end of your session you will take home your masterpiece to be admired by family and friends! The Dopson family host drinks and canapés with Christmas Carols followed by a tasting menu with wine pairing, which is a fantastic chance to meet fellow guests. If you wish to attend Midnight Mass, St. Andrew's Church is just a short walk away. SUNDAY 25TH DECEMBER Start the day with a breakfast buffet. Visit St. Andrew s Church for the traditional family service or enjoy lovely walks along the South Downs directly from the hotel to work up your appetite before lunch. Enjoy a delicious Christmas Lunch with your family and friends. On arrival enjoy a reception drink and canapes, after dinner dance your way into 2018 with Dean Ager providing party hits that span the decades. All details are correct at time of printing but may be subject to alteration without prior warning. 3. All prices quoted include VAT at the current rate. 4. It is the party organiser's responsibility to inform the venue of any dietary requirements of guests, including Nut Allergy, Coeliac and Dairy Allergies. Meals cannot be made available on the day.
