1 Extracts is a unique tea from the Western Cape region of South Africa and has been enjoyed by South Africans for more than 100 years. It is naturally caffeine free, low in tannins, contains no oxalic acid and is rich in flavonoids and antioxidants, making it the ideal beverage for young and old. It is believed to have a soothing effect on the central nervous system, has antispasmodic properties and aids in the management of allergies. It is traditionally served as a hot or cold beverage, but is increasingly being used in novel applications. Limited offers you a wide range of products with the addition of our new extracts. Extracts offer endless opportunities for creating new products, formulations and even adding new flavours to existing ranges. The extracts in our portfolio can be used in a number of applications in the food, beverage and cosmetic industries. Our flexible process allows us to develop customized extracts according to client specification and product development can be done in collaboration with clients. We are a certified manufacturer of Organic (EU, NOP and JAS) as well as Fairtrade, UTZ,, and certified products. Our state of the art facilities are also HACCP accredited. extract has a shelf life of 6 months. Quantities of 2.5 kg and 18 kg are packed inside a double layer clear food grade plastic bag (60 micron) and finally into a corrugated cardboard box.

This product is more stable than E1CCJ in chilled beverage applications, especially in low ph formulations. As it offers great stability it is the preferred choice for PET packaging. The product is completely soluble at 20 C. * NTU value is <0 when dissolved in 2g/L. Ideal for any application with a low ph formulation such as acidified cold beverages, where clarity is essential.
