In 1990, scholarships were added for district staff to help defray the costs of continuing education Scholarship Recipients Funding is primarily provided by the 41 PTAs in the Lake Washington School District. PTAs make an annual donation to the scholarship fund and also contribute themed baskets for a fundraising auction. LWPTSA Council is grateful for the generosity of community partners: the LWSD Central Leadership team, Lake Washington Schools Foundation, and the Lake Washington Education Association. LWPTSA Council s mission is to serve as a relevant resource to the local PTAs and families within the Lake Washington School District through training, support, and guidance, and to advocate for the health, well-being, and education of every child.
