4 Disco Party Night Book a private or shared party night with us to celebrate the festive season with your company, organization or colleagues. We do bespoke menus and can work to your budget and cater for up to 200 persons. We also offer Buffets from onwards. 8 Christmas Break - 4 Nights Package 23rd December to 27th December This festive season indulge yourselves at The Strand Hotel. Put your feet up and have nothing to worry about while our attentive team spoil you. Nothing is too much trouble for us and we have exciting programmes for you to see in the Hotel and in Eastbourne. Located just off the seafront and close proximity to the Pier, Town Centre and Bandstand there is plenty to do in Eastbourne. We will have some sumptuous meals and exciting entertainment organised including a traditional Christmas Lunch, and if you ve been good, there s even a visit from Father Christmas. We hope you will cherish this festive season with us and leave with some fond memories. 23rd December Arrive any time after 3.00pm, or just let us know if you would like to arrive earlier, and we will be waiting to greet you. Once you have settled into your room, you are welcome to come down to the lounge for tea/coffee and mince pies. If you still need to do some last minute Christmas shopping, there are nearby local shops, and the main town centre is only 15 minutes walk away. In the evening, visit the Bar before dinner to meet your fellow guests over drinks to really get you in the Christmas spirit. Then enjoy a three course dinner at the restaurant. After dinner there will be live music and entertainment. Christmas Eve Enjoy a hearty breakfast and explore the town of Eastbourne, or have a leisurely stroll along the spectacular seafront and Pier and return back by midday for light Buffet Lunch. We pick up the pace now as you have Christmas Quiz and Bingo after the lunch. It s time for a 3 course Dinner followed by followed by live entertainment. If you are visiting the church afterwards, Mulled Wine and Mince Pies will be ready on your return. Christmas Day Christmas Day starts with Mimosa and Breakfast, before a stroll along the seafront to the Bandstand. There you can listen to the Silver Band playing all your Christmas favourites, and even join in with the crowds dancing to the tunes. Return to The Strand for a traditional Christmas Lunch with a visit from Father Christmas. Then watch the Queen s Speech on TV at 3 o clock, followed by a relaxing afternoon. In the evening there will be a light supper and some live entertainment. Boxing Day Start the day with a leisurely breakfast, followed by a gentle walk along the promenade to see Eastbourne s Dance Band playing Big Band favourites at the seafront Bandstand, and return back to the hotel by midday for some Afternoon Tea. In the evening, enjoy a Boxing Day Dinner, followed by live music in the Bar. 27th December After breakfast we wish you a fond farewell, a Happy New Year, and we look forward to seeing you back at the The Strand very soon for one of our other packages. 9 Turkey & Tinsel Breaks Available between 31st October & 22nd December Fancy getting into Christmas spirit before the festive period? Why not get together with your friends or family and head for the sunniest coast of England. Here at The Strand Hotel, we are in the festive spirit as early as November. Put your feet up and allow our team to look after you during this festive break. With delicious food including a traditional Christmas Meal and attentive service, a wonderful seafront location and exciting entertainment, nothing is too much trouble for us and we will make sure you have a lovely time and go back with some fond memories. Day 1 Arrival We look forward to greeting you on arrival. Once you have settled into your room, visit our Bar before dinner for some tea/coffee and mince pies to get you in the Christmas mood. Evening will be a 3 course Dinner with Coffee followed by live entertainment Day 3 Christmas Day Start your day with a hearty breakfast and maybe a stroll to the Shops and Pier. Enjoy our traditional Christmas Dinner with a Mulled Wine and Mince Pies. Live entertainment will follow your dinner. Day 4 Boxing Day A leisurely Breakfast & Mimosa awaits you in the morning. Have the day to see the various sights around Eastbourne. The Redoubt Fortress is just around the corner while the Bandstand and Carpet Gardens are close to the Pier. Join us in the evening for a 3 course Dinner and some live entertainment.

10 New Year Eve 3 Nights Package 30th December 2016 to 2nd January 2017 Welcome the New Year at The Strand Hotel a little difference. We have live entertainment and even bingo and a New Year Quiz. With a wonderful seafront location in close proximity to the Pier, Bandstand, Winter Gardens, Theatres and Town Centre, some fabulous food and brilliant entertainment, you would rather not be anywhere else. 30th December Arrive any time after 3.00pm and settle in your room, you can come down and relax in our Bar with some Tea/Coffee and Scones. If you fancy a stroll before dinner, the The Strand Royal Parade faces the promenade, there are nearby local shops and the main town centre is only 15 minutes walk away. Enjoy a 3 course Dinner and then head for the The Hilton Suite where we have some brilliant entertainment acts for you. New Year s Eve (31st December) After a full English breakfast, why not explore the town of Eastbourne, or have a leisurely walk along the spectacular seafront, with stunning views towards Hastings in one direction and Beachy Head in the other. Head back to the hotel in the afternoon for a spot of Bingo and a New year Quiz. New Year s Day ( 1st January) Begin 2017 with a leisurely Mimosa & Breakfast. Head for the Bandstand for a New Year s Day Concert. You have the rest of the afternoon at Leisure. Return to the Hotel for a 3 course Dinner and some live entertainment. 2nd January After a hearty breakfast we wish you a fond farewell, a Happy New Year, and we look forward to seeing you back at The Strand Hotel on one of our other packages. The evening begins with a glass of Bucks Fizz and then enjoy a splendid three course meal with coffee, followed by live music and entertainment and dancing as we count down to midnight. The party finishes at 1.00am.

11 CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR PARTY NIGHT TERMS & CONDITIONS 1. All bookings of facilities at The Strand are accepted upon the following terms and conditions. 2. Receipt of these terms and conditions, together with The Strand s written quotation on the one hand and Client s written confirmation in respect of the booking on the other hand shall constitute the contract between the Client and The Strand and such contract shall come into effect immediately upon receipt of the written confirmation from the Client or their agent. 3. The Strand reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at its own discretion provided such amendments are notified in writing to the Client. DEPOSIT PAYMENTS 4. Bookings are provisional until receipt of appropriate written confirmation, together with a deposit of 10 per person. The Strand reserves the right to cancel a booking without liability in the event of nonpayment of a deposit. 5. Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable. ARRANGEMENT AND FINAL NUMBERS ATTENDING 6. The Client must confirm in writing to The Strand all information necessary to organise the function including the anticipated number of attendees not less than 28 working days prior to the function. Where a booking is made at less than 28 days notice, all such information must be confirmed at the time of booking. Changes to this are at the sole discretion of The Strand. 7. Full payment should be made to The Strand no later than 28 days prior to the event. 8. Final numbers for catering purposes including any special dietary requirements need to be confirmed to The Strand no later than 14 days prior to the function. In the event of a booking occurring less than 5 days from the event the numbers given will be deemed final. 9. Where the actual attendance on the day varies from final confirmed numbers the account shall be calculated on the number confirmed by the Client or the number actually attending, whichever is the greater. BOOKING CANCELLATIONS 10. Cancellation charges are based upon the Client s most recent confirmation. 11. The Strand reserve the right to charge the Client in full for any cancellation made within 28 days of the event. PAYMENT 12. For all bookings payment is to be made in full, no less than 28 days prior to the event. 13. The Strand reserves the right to action payment of any outstanding balance post event by use of the Client s payment details and forward a receipt of payment to the address given by the Client. The Strand will attempt to notify the Client before action of payment is taken. GENERAL 14. The Client shall indemnify The Strand against any loss, damage, cost or expense caused to or suffered by The Strand or any agents, guest or employee of The Strand arising as a result of the deliberate, casual or accidental act of the Client, his agent, employee or guest of the function. 15. The Strand shall not be liable for any loss or damage to the property owned by, or in custody of the Client or his agents, employees or guest. 16. The Client shall not introduce in The Strand any inflammable or hazardous material nor shall he or his agent, employee or guest commit any act which may endanger The Strand or any persons within it. Clients will be responsible for ensuring that all measures necessary for the good health and safety of their employees, agents or guests are employed and enforced. 17. The Strand does not allow the consumption of drinks (alcoholic or otherwise) or foods not purchased on the premises. If discovered the guest(s) will be asked to pay the prevailing corkage charge and then be asked to leave the premises. NB: Corkage we define corkage as the substitute cost of (and not limited to) the house wine, spirits and champagne. 18. The Client agrees to take full responsibility, and reimburse The Strand for the cost of repair arising from any damage to the property, contents or grounds by their employees, agents or guests. 19. The Strand reserves the right to impose a minimum charge of 100 for soiling caused by irresponsible behaviour (to include damage caused by cigarette/ cigar/pipe smoke). Smoking is strictly forbidden in all areas of The Strand with the exclusion of the designated smoking shelter. 20. The Strand must comply with certain insurance/ licensing and statutory regulations and requires the Client to co-operate fully in meeting these. 21. All prices quoted include VAT unless otherwise stated. 22. The Strand shall not be liable for the failure to comply with any terms or conditions of this Contract where compliance is prevented, hindered or delayed by any cause beyond its control including, but not limited to, fire, storm, explosion, flood, Act of God, labour shortage, electrical/gas power failure, interruption of supplies or industrial action. 23. In the event of adverse weather preventing safe and reasonable access to the venue, we reserve the right to postpone your event and reschedule it within 45 days of the original booking.
