2 Dear Partners, After a truly Epic season we want to thank you for your support during our first 2 years of trading - and to share our plans for an even bigger and better Season in 2018/19. This season s record snow was a true test for Team Huski, but we are pleased to say our sleds/vans passed with flying colours % Delivery Completion: 1,500 deliveries to 20 resorts and we didn t miss one. 2. Double the Business: Sales up 400% + we doubled the number of resorts we covered 3. Consistently Great Service: 100% of customers gave us 5-Stars, and word of mouth keeps growing But as with any new business we ve also learned a lot and every piece of feedback is a chance to make vital improvements. Looking to next season there are 3 areas that you will see BIG improvements from Huski: EXPANDED FOOD RANGE: More suppliers = more choice. We must always offer you the right products at the right price for every guest. This has been a massive area of focus, and we move next season from one to SEVEN food suppliers. We now truly have something for everyone. SLICKER TECH: As our range grows we need to make it simpler for you and your customers to choose and order. So this summer we are doing a major tech over haul, focused on a new menu building tool and enhanced API capability to integrate our products into your own booking set-up. MORE RESORTS: We aim to be pan Alps next season so we can deliver to ANY RESORT - through a combination of our own drivers & logistics partners - with daily drops across the French Alps and weekly deliveries everywhere else. So there s lots to do, but like any good Husky Dog we don t fear hard work! We re planning on doubling the Huski business again this year, but we will only get there with your support. 12 HUSKI INTRO PREMIUM FRESHLY MADE CHALET DINING * LOCALLY INSPIRED, SOURCED AND MADE * We are really excited to announce the newest members of the Huski family: chefs Matt & Clarinda, who have partnered with us to develop a unique range of Freshly-Made Dishes to complement our frozen range. Called Chalet Chef Matt & Clarinda will be cooking up from our brand-new kitchen at our new custom built HQ in Bourg-Saint-Maurice - and we will be delivering to all our resorts for Winter 18/19. INTRODUCTION TO THE CHALET CHEF When passionate foodie Clarinda met classically trained chef Matt sparks flew and they began a culinary journey together. They call their style gourmet gourmand - combining their creativity in the kitchen with their love for travel, taking pleasure in learning traditional recipes and incorporating fresh local ingredients. When they came to the Alps in 2014 lured by a shared love of the mountains, their cuisine became inspired by the centuries old traditions of the Savoie. In these beautiful but harsh mountains, where folk still live off the land like they always have, and cows graze the lush mountains plumply and freely; where cheese is still hand-churned and pre-sliced bread is considered heresy - rearing ingredients is no simple feat. Matt and Clarinda developed a deep appreciation for the work and challenges involved in producing the fresh, local ingredients that they had become so passionate about and grew determined to give their mountains the place on the culinary map it deserves; to celebrate the rustic simplicity of century old tummy hug recipes and elevate them into something new, exciting and indulgent. WHAT WE LOVE ABOUT THE CHALET CHEF Matt & Clarinda are the real deal. Their style is everything we love about chalet food delicious hearty dishes, made with love and heroing the best local ingredients - that taste just right after a day s skiing. For the past two years they have delivered their delicious, fresh, home-made meals to thousands of people all over the Three Valleys and La Plagne. 13 PREMIUM FROZEN PREPARED MEALS OFFERING A HUGE RANGE TO COVER ALL TASTES INTRODUCTION TO COOK COOK began at a small bakery in Kent where founder Edward began making handmade frozen cakes. The cakes were stunning and it got him wondering why no one was making savoury meals in the same way. 15 PREMIUM FROZEN PREPARED MEALS READY TO HEAT MAINS, SIDES & DESSERTS INTRODUCTION TO GOURMADE I'm Jo and this is Glenn, the team behind Gourmade. I've always loved cooking, but when we had kids, life got (very) busy and I noticed I was doing a lot of prep for a meal that would disappear from the dinner table in 15 minutes! That's where the idea for Gourmade came from; frozen meals made with good ingredients and frozen within the hour. This new brand from the Netherlands is a perfect solution for Vegetarian skiers who want to eat well on a budget. Their stir-fry format tastes great, is high in protein, with bags of taste - and will work perfectly for guests staying in chalet or apartments with more basic kitchens. No Animals. No Soy. No Hassle. WHAT WE LOVE ABOUT LAZY VEGAN We love their Groovy Dutch style with a great brand with loads of personality and good karma Their cook-from-frozen stir-fry format is a winner for veggies on a budget High Protein and High Taste with their Pea Protein based recipes and bags of vegetable nutrients for skiers wanting to eat healthily in the mountains.
