2 ?--The Nogales Visitor's Center is located at 123 Kino Park Place, at the corner of SR 82 and Grand Avenue, and is open Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm. This is your first stop as you Rediscover Nogales! On site staff will provide insight about the greater Ambos Nogales area, offer maps and brochures, and answer any tourist or business questions you may have. Call at Dennis Deconcini Port of Entry is a 24 hour vehicular and pedestrian port of entry serving downtown Ambos Nogales. This POE is equipped with SENTRI and FAST lanes to expedite processing for trusted travelers. Have your documentation ready when preparing to cross into the United States. For more border crossing information, click on "Mexico" above! Immediately adjacent to the POE is the U.S. Custom House, originally built in 1935 in the Spanish Eclectic style. This imposing Custom House is a reminder of the importance of Nogales as a primary port of entry from Mexico along the Arizona border. 2.--Morley Port of Entry was the main border crossing in Nogales through the mid 20th century when the Deconcini Port of Entry was constructed. The crossing is open daily from 10 am to 6 pm and is the only exclusively pedestrian port of entry in the United States. Easily cross between Morley Avenue shopping in Nogales, Arizona and Calle Elias in Nogales, Sonora, home of La Roca Restaurant and various cultural celebrations held throughout the year. 3.--Pimeria Alta Museum and Historic 1914 City Hall is the centerpiece of an architectural whirlwind tour of downtown Ambos Nogales. Built in 1914, it was used as the Mayor's Office, Sheriff's Office with two holding cells, and the Fire Department. The unique clock tower is a must see masterpiece, along with the historical exhibits in the museum depicting Ambos Nogales through the years. Call for more information. 4.--Nasib Karam Park is located on the corner of Morley Avenue and Park Street, complete with benches, a performance rotunda, and historical markers describing the founding of Ambos Nogales.

3 Enjoy the shade and the exciting sights and sounds of the hustle and bustle of people shopping on Morley Avenue. 5.--Historic Main Street Shopping on Morley Avenue is a one of a kind experience in Arizona. Featuring independently owned department stores like Brackers, founding in the 1920's, to modern stay stores like Melrose and Payless Shoes. Enjoy a cultural surprise as you peruse Korean merchant stores selling affordable, everyday goods. The architecture is astounding, including Sonoran, Second Empire, Spanish Colonial, Pueblo Revival, Mediterranean, and other architectural styles. Reminisce in places like the old Montezuma Hotel and others, whispering back to a hey day from the early to mid 20th century. This was also the site of filming for the Hangover III, filmed in Nogales Mercado is a parking area during most of the week, but it comes alive on Friday afternoons with local farmers selling their goods and promoting healthy and sustainable living. The Nogales Mercado is open each Friday from 3 pm to 6 pm. 7.--Historic Court Street sets majestically on a high point in downtown Nogales, Arizona, with a commanding view of the surrounding international area. Historic homes, city square, and the view are a must visit for tourists to Ambos Nogales. 8.--The 1904 Court House sets on a hill overlooking Ambos Nogales with a prestigious Neo-classical style and dome. It cost $35,000 to build and was made of stone quarried in Nogales. Used by Santa Cruz County as its main offices through the 1980's, it is now home to a variety of museums, such as the Cowbelles, Rangers, and others. Museum hours are limited. 9.--US Post Office located at the corner of Morley Avenue and Hudgins Street is a historical site built in the Classical Revival style, and is a must see. It was also used as the Tijuana jail in the filming of the Hangover III in War Memorial Stadium was built by veterans of World War II. Now recognized as one of the finest small baseball parks in Arizona, it is a monument not only to the veterans of the war, but to the prominence of baseball in Nogales today. In 2013, a local Little

4 League team won the American Little League Championship. Nogales is now host to the Little League World Series Western Regional Finals in 2014 and Play Ball! 11.--Nogales City Library was built in the mid 1960's and is an architectural gem in the middle of the City. With a beautiful park all around and an impressive array of books and internet access, the Rochlin Branch Library has been a vital Nogales community center for years. The Library is located at 518 North Grand Avenue is can be contacted at Terrace Avenue is located directly north from the Dennis Deconcini Port of Entry and is home to various parking lots, ground transportation services, and stores catering to cross border travelers Historic Crawford Street is a designated historical district thanks to its beautiful homes and structures dating back to the early 20th Century. Enjoy a variety of architectural styles including Queen Anne Cottage, Bungalow Style, and more. Crawford Street was and continues to be home to many distinguished Nogales citizens, including until recently former Governor and US Ambassador Raul Castro. Further west along Crawford Street, visitors can catch spectacular views into Nogales, Sonora Sacred Heart Church is the religious heartbeat of the community and an architectural masterpiece. Located at the Corner of Arroyo Blvd and Oak Street, worshippers and passersby are sure to feel inspired Mexican Consulate is located at 135 West Cardwell Street, near the corner of Grand Avenue and Cardwell Street. The Mexican Consulate offers services to Mexican and American citizens alike, as well as cultural events and exhibits throughout the year. Call for assistance or information Hilltop Art Gallery is located at 730 North Hilltop Drive and has a commanding view of the entire area. The gallery features rotating exhibits from local and regional artists, as well as local children's artwork during the summer months. Call for hours and information.

5 17.--City Hall Complex and Park was built in 1978 and is home to the Nogales Fire Department, Police Department, Justice Court, Mayor's Office, and City Administration. The lobby, located at the back of the building, hosts limited visitor information and is open Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm. The park area features a kid friendly splash pad, decorative LED fountain, Veteran Wall of Honor, and free Wi-Fi service. The park behind City Hall has playgrounds, a ball field, and other park amenities. Call for more information Nogales Cemetery is a rare jewel found in the middle of the City. With strong Latino influences, the ornately decorated grave sites tell the stories of the thousands of people who have made Nogales home over the past century. The cemetery also has a VFW, Jewish, Masonic, and IOFF dedicated areas showing the different cultures and historical connections of common and distinguished Nogalians alike Camp Little Park is built on the site of former Camp Little, a US Army base through World War II. From this camp, the only World War I military campaign fought on US soil was launched. In 1914, the camp's garrison swelled to over 10,000 mostly black soldiers of the highly decorated 25th Regiment. Today, the park has a playground, ramada, basketball, and barbecue facilities Pesqueira Plaza is found immediately passing through the Dennis Deconcini Pedestrian Port of Entry. This pedestrian plaza is home to dentists, pharmacies, barbershops, restaurants, and the exciting sights, sounds, and smells of "Old Mexico." 21.--Flag Island of the Americas is located directly south of the Dennis Deconcini vehicular Port of Entry. This median area among one of the busier streets of Nogales, Sonora boasts flags from all the Latin American nations, sending an initial Bienvenido to all visitors to Mexico and beyond Pedestrian Bridge crossing over Avenida Plutarco and connecting pedestrians with Avenida Ruiz Cortines is an easy way to cross the railroad tracks and get to the historic Calle Elias, home to La Roca restaurant and other exciting places.

6 23.--Original Train Station, though now just a monument, depicts the importance rail played in the building up of Ambos Nogales. Trains first met in Nogales in 1882, forging an unbreakable link between the United States and Mexico. Today, trains continually pass through Nogales moving commerce and opportunity between these two great nations Curio Shopping is often the destination of many American tourists to Nogales, Sonora. Along many of the streets like Calle Campillo, Calle Pierson, and Avenida Obregon, tourists can find treasures from all makings and likes to take home as a treasured remembrance of an excursion to "Old Mexico." 25.--Historic Catholic Church is similarly the heartbeat of the Nogales, Sonora community. A simple architecture cannot underplay the importance this sacred edifice has played to thousands of residents and tourists alike through the years Plaza Ochoa is an exciting, bustling place where vendors set up their wares, foods, and trinkets to sell to tourists and residents alike. Without a visit to Plaza Ochoa and the other adjacent callejones, or alley ways, is like you did not visit Mexico at all The Nogales Art Museum is a modern building among historic architecture. This building features rotating exhibits and is the sight of numerous public events in downtown Ambos Nogales The Nogales Municipal Auditorium is a center for cultural events in the community, featuring plays, comedy shows, civic events, and much more Historic City Hall is located one block from the auditorium and is the civic center of the community, featuring the Nogales Fire Department and administrative offices Monumento a Juarez, or the Mono Bichi (Naked Man) as locals lovingly refer to it, is a beautiful plaza located about a mile south of the border. The plaza features other statues and is a must see for tourists and residents alike.
