It s an exciting journey where you will taste some of the finest Italian wines, learn to pair the right aromatic olive oil with your food and discover the true flavours of traditional Italy, only at Vetro. Chef Adriano s signature tasting menu consists of contemporary Italian delicacies like truffle filled potato gnocchi with buttered vegetables, lamb with verbena essence served with smoked cauliflower puree, aromatic salad, peppercorns sauce and yoghurt. Heritage Walk We take you back in time as you visit the city s architectural marvels that have quite literally written history in brick and stone. We begin at the magnificent Prince of Wales Museum, walk along the vibrant Kala Ghoda art district, bylanes of Colaba, stroll down the age old historic Dockyard Road and conclude at the Victoria Terminus, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Along the way, see a veritable parade of archetypal Neo-Gothic public buildings built in the 1860s & 70s such as the glorious Bombay University Library with its high campanile and the grand imposing High Court that are South Mumbai's main architectural attraction. [Duration: 4 hours] Art Kaleidoscope of Mumbai Mumbai boasts some fabulous local art in the Kala Ghoda area. 9 Mumbai at Dawn Experience the unique sights and sounds of Mumbai at dawn with this exclusive tour of some of the city s oldest and most interesting bazaars. Witness the breathtaking flower market, the bustle of milk and newspaper vendors at the Victoria terminus building and the fresh fish auction at the docks. Relax with a Mumbai style chai and Iranian morning snack before returning to The Oberoi, Mumbai for a leisurely breakfast. Spice Trail Indian spices are famous around the world and our Chefs have identified Lalbaug as the destination to find a fabulous variety. They will accompany you to the market and tell you about the unique properties of the many spices you see. You will also visit Crawford Market and Mirchi Galli on the way. [Duration: 4 hours] Tour of Chor Bazaar (Thieves Market) With a history dating back over 150 years, this flea market is one of the largest in the country. You can find a range of household goods from furniture and brassware to paintings. Interestingly, it was initially called Shor (noise) Bazaar, but later changed as the British mispronounced the word.
