Garganega Torre del Falasco 2016 (Italy) The Garganega grape is the main grape behind Soave - this is luscious with hints of apricots and peach - full and rich on the finish. Le Tuffeau sauvignon blanc 2016 (France) Le Tuffeau is a super-fresh, zippy sauvignon with vibrant, ripe citrus-fruit aromas. The grapes are sourced from vineyards near the beautiful town of Carcassonne. Rick Stein Spanish White 2016 Castilla y León (Spain) After a number of seafood delights while filming in Galicia and drinking cold Castilla y León from white china cups, I had to find a really well made one for us. It's charmingly fresh and fragrant. Made with virura and verdejo grapes, it's a wine to celebrate my Spanish book and TV series. Pinot grigio Villa Fiore 2016 (Venezia Giulia, Italy) Many pinot grigios that you come across these days are weak and dull with none of the smell and flavour of the grape. This shows exactly how pinot grigio should taste, soft but crisp acidity and a faintly spicy element which marks the fruit of this wine. Xanadu Exmoor chardonnay I first heard about Xanadu in Margaret River when one of our chefs went over to run their restaurant and was raving about the wines. This is their Exmoor drive chardonnay which is fresh and creamy with not too much oak. Muscadet Sèvre-et- Maine Sur Lie Domaine Gadais Pere et Fils 2016 (Loire France) Really first class muscadet, perfect with oysters you don t believe it? Drinking is believing! Aves del Sur gewurztraminer 2016 (Chile) This wine is a real winner, with aromas of rose petals and lychees. Ideal partner to some of our spicier dishes. Snapper Rock Marlborough sauvignon blanc I find many New Zealand sauvignons to be almost oppressively fruit laden. Snapper rock though is much more subtle & at a recent tasting we liked it best because of its good balance of leafy flavour with a pleasing round finish.

4 Picpoul De Pinet 2016 Préambule Since I first discovered picpoul deep in the Camargue on my T.V barging trip, I ve been a fan of this fresh tasting fish wine from the Languedoc. Chablis La Pierreelee 2014 (Burgundy) This is one of the liveliest and freshest wines I have tasted for a long time. White Burgundy Julien Collovray 2015 (France) This will put a smile on the face of anyone who loves the world's best Chardonnays. Pleasingly fresh and thirst quenching with a touch of oak and a lingering finish. Albariño, Bodegas Viña Nora, 2016 (Spain) Fascinating white wine made from the characterful albarino grape. We think this is one of the best we have tasted - delicious. Sancerre 2016 La Mercy-Dieu Domaine Bailly-Reverdy (France) It s clean and fruity with wonderful depth, complexity and gentle flavours of apricot, peach and white flowers on the palate with the distinctive Sancerre mineral finish. Viña Gravonia 2006 Bodegas R.Lo pez de Heredia, Rioja (Spain) Lovely old style Rioja, unashamedly touched with oak & full bodied fruit, but with a good acidic edge. Meursault, 'Fernand Boyer' Domaine Boyer Martenot, France 2014 Made the way a Meursault should be, rich, ripe and decadent. RED WINE Felipe Edwards Carmenere A brilliant example of Chile's main red grape variety. Fresh, juicy and ever so smooth. Pure silk in a glass. Torre del Falasco Corvina This lush and smooth Italian red always impresses with it's bouquet of blackcurrant and bramble aromas and its' long velvety finish. Merlot Vincent Bouquet, Les domains Auriol, IGP Pays d Oc, France 2016 A lighter medium weight style of merlot with lush plummy fruit and rounded tannins. Son Excellence syrah Rich and smooth and concentrated with mulberries, cassis and red cherries, with soft and silky tannins. Rick Stein Spanish Red Garnacha 2016 (Spain) Rick and his son Charlie worked together to select this wine to match with the flavours he encountered on his journey through Spain. A delicious juicy and ripe red. James Bryant pinot noir 2014 (California) California s Central Coast is great for producing pinot noir really elegant with rich scented fruit great with fish. Kaiken malbec Reserve 2016 (Argentina) This vineyard sits at 950ft in Mendoza. Kaiken Reserve is deep violet in colour with rich layers of chocolate and a little spice too - stunning malbec. Côtes-du-Rhône 2015 Domaine Lafond (France) Thick, dark and full of mature fruit. As the late great Bill Baker our wine advisor for 30 years, might have said 'Proper Cotes du Rhone'. Massaya Classic 2014 (Lebanon) We are much enthused by this cinsault, cabernet sauvignon and Syrah blend from the Bekaa valley in Lebanon. Elegant is the word, powerful and elegant. ROSE WINE Granfort Rose 2016 (France) A light and refreshing style Rose from the South of France. Crisp, clean and bursting with crunchy strawberry and raspberry fruit. Alandra Rosado Alentejo 2016 (Portugal) A full bodied dry Rose with a lovely fragrant lift and broad palate of red currant and strawberry fruit. Chateau Bauduc Rosé 2016 (Bordeaux, France) We made this lighter style of Rosé using merlot, cabernet franc and cabernet sauvignon grapes with minimum skin contact it is crisp, dry and fruity a sort of St Tropez meets Bordeaux says Gavin Quinney of Chateau Bauduc. DESSERT WINE 100ml Bottle Samos vin doux 2016 liqueur Muscat (Greece).) Samos liqueur Muscat comes from the eponymous island close to the Turkish coast. A serious Muscat, luscious rather than full blown sweet. Domaine De Grange Neuve 2011 Monbazillac Sublime dessert wine made from a blend of sémillon, sauvignon blanc & a little muscadelle. Fabulously fine with just the right balance between the honeyed sweetness & the fresh, citrus acidity.
