RIESLING Hartenberg Riesling 2014 R190 Made from the German Riesling grape, considered one of the Noble varieties, which produces wines of high acidity and elegance, best characterised by its peach and honeysuckle aromatic notes, and with a distinct petrol nose as it ages. OFF DRY & SEMI-SWEET Thelema Mountain Vineyards Muscat de Frontignan 2015 R175 An oh-so-charming wine made in tiny quantities at this well-regarded winery. Light, off-dry and very tasty! 8 ROSÉ & BLANC DE NOIR Kanonkop Pinotage Rosé 2016 R150 A full bodied wine with more onion skin colour rather than red/pink. Typical Pinotage floral aromas with prominent red fruit flavours. Staying with the Kanonkop philosophy this wine is a full bodied food wine. Add a bit of ice for spice. Buitenverwachting Blanc de Noir 2016 R140 Constantia A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot, this Rosé has an attractive salmon pink colour and offers a combination of fresh strawberry and raspberry characters with aromatic peach like flavours. Jordan Chameleon Rosé 2016 R155 Gorgeously dry French-styled Rosé made in traditional fashion. Fresh strawberry and red berry fruits flesh out a nicely structured palate. Great as a versatile lunchtime wine. Klein Constantia KC Rosé 2013 R150 Constantia A freshly styled Cabernet Sauvignon/ Cabernet Franc Rosé with moderate alcohol and vibrant mineral characters designed for a wide range of occasions. PINOT NOIR Paul Cluver Pinot Noir 2013 R445 Elgin Retired neurosurgeon Paul Cluver was the first person to plant vineyards on the cool apple growing Elgin plateau, an ideal climate for this challenging variety. This wine, with its truffle and cherry fragrance, and elegantly fruity palate spent 11 months maturing in French barrels. Glen Carlou Pinot Noir 2006 R365 Paarl Valley On the palate, this Pinot Noir has a smooth silky texture, followed by mild tannins that deliver structure and complexity. This is a generously fruit-driven wine with a great balance of harmony of acid and fruit.

Diemersfontein Pinotage 2015 R280 Wellington Dark chocolate with a hint of mint and baked plums on the nose. Ripe subtle tannins create a wine to be enjoyed young. This unique style of Pinotage is a perfect accompaniment to salmon, roast venison and dark chocolate mousse. Grangehurst Pinotage 2006 R475 Grangehurst s maiden 1992 vintage was vinified on a converted squash court. Since then, this specialist red wine cellar has lost none of its hand-crafted appeal. One of the Cape s best Pinotages, it is firmly structured, yet elegant, showing good depth and complexity. Reyneke Pinotage 2013 R240 This medium ruby Pinotage shows red plum and brambly berries with a light leather note. Fresh dark red fruit shows on the palate with nicely integrated light notes of coconut and mocha. A very refreshing contrast to the coffee-pinotage style currently in vogue. MERLOT Kievits Kroon Merlot 2015 R140 Wellington Blended exclusively for Kievits Kroon by award-winning Linton Park Wines. Ripe berries with a minty undertone. Blackcurrants and juicy plums come to life on the pallet. De Grendel Merlot 2014 R295 Durbanville Described by Michael Oliver as An elegant generosity of red and black fruits with roadside fennel and cedar wood. Smooth well rounded tannins and a freshness combine in a longer and gently waning after-taste. Hartenberg Merlot 2014 R395 Bright ruby red in colour. Perfumed notes on the nose make this wine inviting. Easy tannins, cherry and cedar flavours on the palate with a velvety finish completes it.

CABERNET SAUVIGNON Klein Constantia Cabernet Sauvignon 2009 R420 Constantia 2009 has been widely regarded as one of the finest vintages in decades. Very mild conditions early in the season and a long, dry summer helped create perfectly ripe, healthy grapes. The wine spent a period of 24 months maturing in French oak barriques before bottling in June Brampton Cabernet Sauvignon 2015 R165 Gold Medal - Veritas Wine Awards Great ruby depth of colour with engaging dark chocolate, blackcurrant and spearmint aromas layered with brushes of cloves and other brown spice. Mähler-Besse Cheval Noir Saint-Émilion 2012 R345 Bordeaux, France The Right Banks Bordeaux are beautiful blends that consist mostly of Merlot, and are some of the most sought-after wines in the world. Blackberry, raspberry, and plum on the nose and palate. D E S S E R T W I N E S Klein Constantia Vin de Constance ml R195 Constantia A much awarded recreation of the Cape s legendary sweet wine of the 18th century (written about by Charles Dickens and drunk by Napoleon in exile). Tempting aromas of dried mangos, apricots and honey also show on the intense flavours. Savour before or after a meal. Mullineux Family Wines Straw Wine ml R130 Swartland Chenin grapes raisined on straw mats yielded viscous juice that took six months (instead of a few days) to ferment, to make this decadently sweet, ripe and perfectly balanced wine. A light-footed 10% alcohol makes it an appealing drink before or after dinner. F O R T I F I E D W I N E S Weltevrede Ouma se Wyn ml R20 Fortified white Muscadel, made especially for the winemaker s Ouma, who likes nothing better than a glass of lightly chilled, sweet wine.

14 Weltevrede Oupa se Wyn ml R25 Red Muscadel fortified with brandy to make a warming (15.5% alcohol) drink which slips down easily. Graham Beck Rhona Muscadel ml R25 Made in the style of the sweet fortified Muscat of France. The superior Muscat de Frontignanretains all its sweetness whilst the alcohol is added in the form of a grape spirit to produce a delicately grapey Muscadel (at 16% alc) which makes a charmingly fresh aperitif or dessert wine. De Krans Cape Ruby NV 50ml R25 Calitzdorp Full ripe fruit flavours of red and blue berries, violets and cinnamon spice on the nose. Rich flavours of cherries and ripe plum fruit with hints of chocolate and spice on the palate.
