Quartz Toasting is particularly aimed at delicate wines whose fruit needs protecting to obtain roundness, while respecting the expression of the minerality of the grape variety. A perfect match for white wine varietals. Rubis TM Toast: This toast penetrates to the heart of the wood, using a slow, deep and long heat (almost twice as long as a traditional toast). The effect on the oak tannins enables it to accompany the wine through a long aging period that will reveal the intense and concentrated expression of this wine. Recommended for Pinot Noir and Zinfandel. Basalte TM Toast: Closed, this toast reinforces the empyreumatic nuances which are typical of the traditional Burgundy toast. Handcrafted in Burgundy, in one of France s smallest Burgundy cooperages, our Marsannay artisans create barrels that will enhance all of your Burgundy-style wines. Many of the fi nest wineries in North America are already enjoying barrels from Marsannay for their Burgundy-style Pinot Noir and Chardonnay wines. Although specifi c forest designations are available upon request, our blend barrel, crafted from wood selected from Haute Futaie (trees grown very close together), is the house style in the tightest grains. In order to maintain the highest quality control over our oak products, we have purchased numerous mills in both France and America. We begin the barrel-making process by milling the trees to our own rigorous standards. We then season the wood for a minimum of 24 months. Once properly cured, the wood is shipped to our cooperages where our experienced artisans produce high-quality barrels that are exported worldwide. 6 HISTORY ABOUT NADALIÉ USA Founded in 1980, Nadalié USA is the fi rst French cooperage in America. Located in Calistoga, CA, the Nadalié USA production facility handcrafts American oak barrels and imports French oak barrels made at the Nadalié cooperages in France. By continuing the tradition of handcrafting barrels in the traditional French style, the name Nadalié has become synonymous with fi ne cooperages worldwide. TERMS & CONDITIONS PRICING: Pricing is based on FOB to the Nadalié USA warehouse in Northern California. Pricing subject to change without notice. INSPECTION: The cooperage inspects and routinely makes periodic analysis of wood throughout our rigorous manufacturing process. In conjunction with this analysis, we recommend that our customers make visual and sensory inspections of our products before introducing wine. Should any undesirable characteristics be found, please contact Nadalié USA immediately. TERMS: An order acknowledgement must be signed and returned before an order will be produced or shipped. Our standard terms require a 20% deposit with the balance due Net 30 days thereafter. New customers may be required to pre-pay for an initial order.
