2 WINE FREE FROM ADDED SULPHITES Amorosso is a wine totally free from added sulphites Sulphites are chemical substances that are widely used in wine-making to maintain colour and shelf-life of both red and white wines. Sulphites are artificial additives that may have negative effects on our bodies. Thay can cause headaches (hangovers), as well as stomach aches and allergic reactions to wine. For this reason the European Union requires that when wine contains more than 10 mg per litre of sulphur dioxide (E220) this must be indicated on the label(eudirective 89/2003). The Aglianico grape from vineyards grown at an altitude of 800 metres in compliance withe the scrict D.O.C. quality rules and without the use of pesticides; 2. The great care and attention paid during the wine-making process which is based on an innovative system patented.

AN INNOVATIVE WINE- MAKING SYSTEM PATENTED The technological process is been developed by Tebaldi located in Verona, this company avails itself of scientific support from the Department of Biotechnologies of the University of Verona and from the Institute of Biology and Agricultural Biotechnologies of the National Centre for Research(CNR) in Pisa The use of specific technology and the adoption of an innovative vinification protocol ensure quality wine without the need for preservatives like sulphites. 6 AMOROSSO. THE WINERY Amorosso wine is produced by Diomede winery, one of the largest winery in Basilicata with over 20 years of history. In 2009 have been produced more than hectoliters (total wines of Diomede winery). Diomede winery deliver all over the world.
