2 DAY 2 (SEP 7, THUERSDAY): BARCELONA *During this day the clients will have the luxury minibus (Mercedes Sprinter) at their disposal from 09:00 until dinner time (for all the tours and transfers). Morning - GOTHIC QUARTER WALKING TOUR & VISIT PRIVATE COLLECTION OF BOFILL By the hand of our expert guide, we will discover the most important medieval neighbourhoods: the Gothic Quarter and La Ribera. A charming itinerary full of narrow streets, hidden squares and stunning corners bonding present and past. During the first part of the tour we will explore the main monuments of this period, like for example La Plaza Sant Jaume (Saint James s Square), political core of the city, or The Plaza del Rey (King s Square), seat of counts and kings from the Crown of Aragon. We will also discover the Cathedral of Barcelona (Catedral de la Santa Cruz y de Santa Eulalia), built between the XIII and XV centuries. Following, we will cross Vía Laietana to get into the old quarter of La Ribera, place where traders, sailors and artisans settled during the medieval times. During the visit the chef will show us the most representative products of the local cuisine while also producing valuable information about each ingredient and its origin.

3 ! Following the visit to the market, accompanied by our chef, we will move to a cozy cooking showroom. This is where the cooking show will take place. The same chef will then give us a masterclass in how to prepare these traditional Catalan dishes (all of which we will have selected fresh from the market that day). We will be of course invited to turn our hand to cooking these traditional recipes. During the boat ride, we will enjoy one of the most surprising and attractive panoramic views of the city, passing in front of some of the most representative beaches and harbors along the coast. The captain will talk us about the Mediterranean, the relationship between the city and the sea and all those curiosities that can only be seen from the sea. Morning - GAUDÍ & MODERNISM Antonio Gaudí is considered the most ingenious and innovative architect of his time and creator of an own and unique style in the world. This is reflected in its impressive architectural works, such as the Sagrada Familia, the Casa Batlló or El Parc Güell... and also other lesser known but equally amazing works. On this tour we will travel back in time to the 19th century. We will discover, visit and learn about the creations of Gaudí and other great masters of modern architecture, such as Lluís Domènech i Montaner, Josep Puig I Cadafalch or Josep Villaseca I Casanovas. And the fact is that Barcelona is considered the second most sportive city in the world, which is not surprising if we bear in mind that it is an ideal place both for practicing physical activities and watching major sports events. The city also has two great icons of the sports world, the Camp Nou and the Montjuïc Mountain, places we will visit during this exciting tour. Firstly we will recall FC Barcelona s sporting successes walking through the most emblematic facilities of the Camp Nou. We will discover the visitors changing room, the players tunnel, the benches area in the playing field, the newsroom, the museum... at the end of the visit, if we want, we will be able to buy the shirt of our favorite player. Then we will head to the magical mountain of Montjuïc where we will enjoy stunning views of the city and discover the major facilities that hosted the 1992 Barcelona Olympic Games, such as the Olympic Stadium Lluís Companys, the Palau Sant Jordi or the Calatrava Tower. Part of the attraction of wine is that it is not only a drink, but also an expression of a region s culture and the local environment of the vineyard in which it was produced. In this sense, wine's culture, tradition and landscape are a symbol of Catalonia and a vital part of its history. Just 45 minutes from Barcelona lies a small and unique family owned winery. On arrival we will wonder through the vineyard which will inspire us to learn more about the history and importance of wine in Catalonia. We will see the old winery where some wines are still produced today and have the chance also to see the modern one, which is considered one of the most innovative in the region. After the stroll we will taste some white, red and rosé wines in the former dining-room, where we will also enjoy an excellent Catalan style lunch.
