Perfect for families with a penchant for nostalgic flavours, the menus showcase familiar favourites such as Loh Kai Yik, a long-lost traditional recipe comprising braised chicken drumlet, pork belly, pork skin, soaked cuttlefish and red fermented bean curd, Kong Bak Pau and Deepfried Black Pomfret with Leek and Salted Bean. Tuck into Grandma s Oyster Mee Sua fresh oysters wok-fried with cabbage, mee sua and quality stock made from fish, chicken and pork bones. 1
2 A noteworthy highlight from the eight-course menu is Chef Tham s Stir-fried Boiled Chicken with Ginger, where a whole chicken is boiled with garlic and spring onion, chilled to retain its moisture and flavour, then chopped and stir-fried with ginger for a burst of fragrance. Diners will also have the option of replacing oysters with Seafood Mee Sua and conclude the meal with classic Teochew Yam Paste for dessert.
