23 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Taxes & Service Charges: All menu items are exclusive of 15% service charge and Hawaii State tax (4.431%). Pricing is subject to change at any time. Cancellation: If this agreement is cancelled within 30 days of the event, 100% of the estimated overall revenue will be assessed to the client folio. Attendance & Guarantees: Attendance guarantees are required for events with food and beverage services 30 days prior to the event date. This guarantee may not be decreased after this date; however, it may be increased up to 3 business days prior to the event date. In the event the actual guest attendance is above the 3%, an additional charge of $5.00 per person will be applied to all guests and charged to the master account. Food & Beverage Arrangements: All food and beverage served at events on property are to be prepared and served by the hotel. No outside food or beverages may be brought into the function or public areas for guest consumption. In compliance with health regulations of Hawai i County, leftover food and beverage prepared and served at banquet events may not be taken off hotel property. Alcoholic beverage sales, service and dispensing is regulated by the County and State Liquor laws and by terms of the hotel liquor license. No alcoholic beverages will be allowed into any event/function from an outside source or served to any person(s) under 21 years of age. All alcoholic beverages purchased from an event/function must be consumed within the designated areas of the event/function. Bartender fees apply. Allergy Clause: In the event that any of the attending guests have food allergies or dietary restrictions, the client shall inform the hotel all names of such persons and nature of their allergies, no later than 30 business days prior to the event date. The hotel will take the necessary precautions when preparing these specific meals for the guests.
