3 M. N A S B A L Do you know Mrs.Nadina? pg Mrs. Nadina is a 5th Grade Social Studies teacher at Edmonson County ⅚ Center. When I asked her how she liked teaching here she said, I love working here. I believe it to because I had her last year in 5th Grade. All teachers at Edmonson County ⅚ Center are amazing, but this week we are recognizing Mrs. Nadina Alexander. Wonder who will be next week's Staff Spotlight? Now my second question is, how do you like only teaching one subject? She said, I like teaching one subject especially because it s my favorite subject. Mrs. Nadina is a great Social Studies Teacher since she only teaches one subject. 7 Spider-Man: HomeComing Review BY LUKE MCCOMBS Coming From A Long-Time Spider-Man SUPER-FAN I really liked the reboot with Tom Holland. He gave a Acual Teen-Age Feell unlike Andrew Garfeild. They were both adults at the time of there spot-light. Even though he is 22 he still gives Teenage vibes. In the Movie he is fighting a long time Spidey villain named The Vulture. It takes place about 8 years after Avengers and 2 months after civil war. Basically it's a very good movie with Spider-Man movie that I enjoyed. Spider man

8 ancient Animal Review By Kaden hennion Dimetrodon Dimetrodon was a 3.5 meter long reptile unlike popular belief it is not a dinosaur because dinosaurs are more closely related to birds. Dimetrodon used its large sail to regulate its body temperature by pointing its large sail s flat side toward the sun or away from it. Its name means Two measures of teeth. This is my favorite reptile because it was big enough to eat a cow.if I could go back in time I would go here. Dimetrodon ate meat so that makes it a carnivore.it most likely ate other reptiles or mammal like reptiles. At cooler times it moved more slowly and it did not eat as much but at warmer times its metabolism would speed up and it would be more active and catch more food. It was thought that Dimetrodon ate neosaurus and it is plausible. what do you think it at\

9 Students of the week by olivia madison and markah huddleston Our students of the week for this week are fifth grader Daylen Cook and sixth grader Wesley Keen. 5th grader Daylen Cook says his favorite subject is math. He s interested in baseball. He doesn t have a favorite teacher.he doesn t do any extracurricular activities. 6th grader Wesley Keen says his favorite subject is math. He says his favorite teacher is Mrs. Stephanie Raymer. He s interested in football, which is his favorite thing to do outside of school.

10 Homemade slushie slime By Lilly Parsley and Gracie Lile Have you ever been really stressed or bored? Well here s an awesome slime to help you relieve anxiety and cure boredom!the things you will need are An airtight container A bottle of Elmer s Clear School Glue About ¼ a cup of water ½ tsp of baking soda Contact solution Food coloring (optional)

11 Slushie beads A mixing utensil A bowl Mix a whole bottle of glue, your water, baking soda, and if you want food coloring in your bowl. Then slowly and carefully put contact solution in your mixture little by little. The slime will start to form and it will be done when it pulls away from the sides of the bowl. When done with the slime, leave it a little bit sticky so the slushie beads will stick to it. Then put your slushie beads in the bowl(which you can find at Michaels or Hobby Lobby) and put your slime in the bowl. Mix and knead the slime into the beads until the slime is no longer sticky and all the beads are in it. Store it in an airtight container so it won t dry out, and there you go! You have your own homemade slushie slime!
