It is a place where architecture, design and ideas meet. With its businesses, homes, cafés, restaurants, shops and a playground, BLOX is Copenhagen s newest cultural and commercial focal point. And with its many exhibitions and events, the building will constantly buzz with life. At BLOX, the Danish Architecture Centre has conference and meeting facilities for every occasion. A large conference hall, meeting rooms and roof-top terraces set the scene for your functions and events. We make it easy for you to arrange your meeting or conference. You can choose from one of our regular conference and meeting packages with full or partial catering, or you can tailor your event to your own specific needs. 3 CONFERENCES & MEETINGS INFORMATION LUNCH WITH A VIEW Conference and meeting guests may dine in the Danish Architecture Centre s café, with a view over the harbour, or in BLOX s restaurant on Bryghuspladsen. Book our café for receptions, afternoon seminars or private functions. You can expect innovative cuisine from the Danish Architecture Centre s kitchens. We believe in high quality and creativity and gain our inspiration from architecture and design. Our menus are based on organic produce from the Nordic region with a focus on fair trade. EXPLORE OUR EXHIBITIONS AND TOUR THE BUILDING Add an extra experience to your meeting or event at the Danish Architecture Centre. All visitors are welcome to stroll around this spectacular building with its many features and facilities. And it s free for everyone to visit DAC s current exhibition full of new insights and inspiration. PRACTICAL DETAILS The Danish Architecture Centre is located at Bryghuspladsen 10, 1473 Copenhagen K, around 12 minutes by foot from Copenhagen Main Station. Bus routes 1A, 2A and BA run from Stormgade, which is about a 5-minute walk from BLOX. The harbour shuttle sails from the Royal Danish Library to Nyhavn, the Royal Danish Opera and Refshaleøen. The trip from Copenhagen Airport takes about 20 minutes by car and 30 minutes with public transport. If you re coming by car, you can park in BLOX s fully automatic car park with 350 parking spaces. The entrance is on Vester Voldgade. You can also book a guided walking or bike tour of the city, a cruise in Copenhagen Harbour or a conducted tour of the current exhibition. Make sure also to visit our inspirational design shop with books on architecture and design. All event participants receive a 10 % discount. 2
