2 Welcome to Washington! This D.C. Guide was compiled by the ADPAC Team in honor of ADA dentists and their families who will be attending the 2017 Dentist and Student Lobby Day. We love D.C. and want to share our favorite places with you. There are so many great spots, there is no way we could list them all. We have not listed anywhere in this guide where we would not go ourselves. This guide is listed by category. If you have any questions, please drop by the ADPAC Booth! Brasserie Beck 1101 K St. NW Belgian food with extensive beer menu, moderately priced, small bar, best for small groups, ask about the chef s table. Mastro s Downtown th St. NW 5 minutes from Metro Center metro Steakhouse with large bar and private rooms of all sizes. CYNTHIA TAYLOR S FAVORITE Del Frisco s Steakhouse 950 I St. NW #501 7 minute walk from Metro Center Station High-end steak and seafood dining with posh atmosphere, reservations necessary, private rooms available. Old Ebbitt Grill Downtown/White House th St. NW 5 minute walk from Metro Center Metro Station American cuisine, one of D.C. s most historic/busiest restaurants, reservations suggested but don t worry if you don t make them, many full-service bars situated around restaurant, best professional bartenders in the city (ask them for stories), great oysters!

Farmers, Fishers, Bakers Georgetown - The Washington Harbour 3000 K St. NW - American inspired cuisine, reservations highly suggested, but many other options in the vicinity. Sequoia Georgetown - The Washington Harbour 3000 K St. NW - American inspired cuisine, food is good, but has best view of the Potomac and Kennedy Center in D.C. PETER AIELLO S FAVORITE Founding Farmers 1924 Pennsylvania Ave, NW - Foggy Bottom 7 minute walk from Foggy Bottom Metro Station American inspired cuisine, reservations highly suggested, be prepared to wait even if you have them! MORE FORMAL DINING: Blue Duck Tavern Foggy Bottom/West End th St. NW 8 minute walk from Foggy Bottom Metro Station American inspired cuisine, beautiful open kitchen, save room for dessert! SARAH MILLIGAN S FAVORITE Black Salt Palisades MacArthur Blvd, NW - not metro accessible Seafood, very off the beaten path but worth the trip! Rasika West End Foggy Bottom/West End New Hampshire Ave - 7 minute walk from Foggy Bottom Metro Station Chinatown location (smaller and louder than the West End location) D St. NW 5 minute walkfrom Chinatown Metro Modern and Traditional Indian Cuisine, reservations necessary in both locations. Komi Dupont Circle th St. NW 8 minute walk from Dupont Circle Metro Station One of D.C. s best (and most expensive) restaurants, there is no menu, food brought out in many courses, one of the best meals you will ever have! Reservations necessary, ask for the front window table. SARAH MILLIGAN S FAVORITE Bourbon Steak Georgetown Four Seasons Hotel 2800 Pennsylvania Ave, NW - One of D.C. s best restaurants, ask to sit outside if weather permits. Where diplomats, dignitaries, and celebrities stay/eat when they come to D.C.
