We believe that growing our own and buying locally is sustainable for the environment and our local community. A large amount of our salad and vegetable ingredients come from our on-site vegetable gardens, ensuring freshness and taste. The vegetable gardens are an expression of our core beliefs about the holistic nature of what River Valley does and how we operate. We also have chickens which provide most of our yummy, brightly coloured eggs. 5

6 Team Building Activities Grade 5 White Water Rafting Increasingly claimed to be New Zealand s best half-day white water raft trip. Drive by shuttle 20 minutes and raft 12 kms and 25 rapids on the spectacular Rangitikei Grade 5 Gorge over the next 2-3 hours. A full adrenaline team building experience that will have your team talking about the experience for a long time to come. The trip finishes right on the river front at River Valley Lodge to finish with hot showers. $ per person The Awesome Scenic Rafting Adventure Allow a whole day. We pack a picnic lunch as you take in the truly beautiful scenery of the Rangitikei River. More than likely you will have this special piece of the river all to yourselves. Departs on the river outside River Valley Lodge. With over 30 Grade 2 (easy) rapids, a side hike to a spectacular waterfall (weather dependent), the 13 km scenic section of the Rangitikei River downstream from River Valley Lodge is a great full day activity to get your team outdoors and immersed in the outdoors. $ per person 6

Guided Horse Tours 5 minutes from the Lodge, 500 feet higher above the river lives our team of devoted horses ready to take you on the ride of your life.

Explore the epic back country of NZ and enjoy the outstanding vistas looking out to the Ruahine Ranges and beyond. At River Valley we practice natural horsemanship, which uses natural training principles (horses are bit-less and barefoot) and encourages communication between horse and rider. 2 hour, half day and full day rides are available, prices vary. 8 River Valley Spa For total relaxation or treating those tired muscles after a day of conferencing or adventuring our spa offers a choice of 2 saunas, a hot tub and masseuse onsite. $25 per hour for use of both Sauna and Spa Pool. Sauna With room for up to 6 people and a wood fired stove, this is just the place to sweat out a few toxins while socialising with friends or family. Very much a social event. Spa Pool Our spa pool overlooks the river, set amongst native beech trees. This could be the perfect place to start. The spa pool is all about leisure and relaxation. 8

A 3-course meal including a country-styled roast dinner with garden fresh vegetables is served in the evening at the Lodge. Picture a cosy night in around the fire, bonding and having fun with your team over a beverage of your choice. The team can stay overnight in one of our Deluxe Guest Rooms (sleeps 2-3) and enjoy a buffet breakfast the following morning. Price $319 per person The Ultimate Horseback Package This package will get you team outdoors exploring some beautiful New Zealand countryside. Utilise our meeting room for the morning to revise the team s strategy and future direction. After your Antipasto Tiffin Platter lunch, get the team out in the fresh air for a volleyball game or trail walk along the river.
