1 SUPPLY OF DRY STORES TENDER DETAILS: DURATION: Tenders should be prepared on the basis of a twelve (12) month arrangement commencing 1 st July CLOSING DATE: Monday 28th May TENDER APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS: Provide pricing information for the items detailed in the pricing section. Provide a brief company profile addressing history, service, experience and commitment to work health and safety and quality assurance. Provide certificates of currency for public liability insurance and work cover. SUPPLY DETAILS The successful tender will supply to the Home the attached various items on a needed basis. PRICING Pricing is to remain fixed for the period specified above. Please provide fixed pricing individually for each above products. EVALUATION OF OFFER All submissions will be evaluated using our matrix selection method to ensure fair evaluation. Both price and non-price factors will be considered.
2 QUALITY ASSURANCE The successful supplier shall be committed to Quality Procedures. Please provide details of: Company profile addressing History, Service Experience, Reference Sites. Please include in this profile details of your commitment to Quality Assurance - Accreditation details and your willingness to participate in the Home s Quality Assurance Program. WORK HEALTH & SAFETY Work Health & Safety regulations must be complied with at all times in the provision of products and services. The Homes Work Health & Safety details are available on request. At all times the Homes Work Health and Safety guidelines (Contractors Site Requirements) should be referred to for compliance to The Homes policies. INSURANCE: Suppliers agree to maintain the following insurances throughout the duration of the contract. WorkCover Policy Public Liability Policy COMPLAINTS PROCESS All complaints must be investigated and responded to within 14 days. Should you wish to furnish a complaint to the Home for any reason the following procedure should be followed: (i) Initial complaint should be directed to our Manager Environmental Services (ii) If the complaint is not dealt with satisfactorily it should then be referred to the Home s CEO. TRANSPORT REQUIREMENTS All food products are to be transported in clean food transport vehicles. The foods are not to be transported in direct contact with meat, animals, plants, pests or chemicals or exposed to sunlight. All potentially hazardous foods (dairy foods, meat, fish, & smallgoods) must be transported under refrigeration at or below 5 C for cold food and at or above 60 C for hot food. Frozen food is to be delivered frozen hard (not partially thawed). If food is transported between 5 C and 60 C, it must be demonstrated that the temperature of the food, having regard to the time taken to transport the food, will not adversely affect the microbiological safety of the food. Dry goods must have their packaging intact and clean. No dented, rusted, or brown cans will be accepted.
3 CONDITIONS FOR SUPPLY It is required that all foods supplied comply with the Food Standards Code at all times. Failure to do so will result in refusal of the goods. TERMINATION If either party wish to terminate the tender agreement, 60 days notice in writing must be given. The Home has the right to terminate the agreement if the supplier does not comply with the specifications with in this document.
