3 The World of Parker Welcome, Spencer Shull! T His addition to the Fess Parker team provides more family presence in the market as we head into our 30 th year as a family owned and operated business. im and I are very excited to announce that as of July 1st, our eldest son, Spencer Shull, will be formally joining the FPW team in the role of Family Representative. Many of you have undoubtedly met Spencer while he was helping out at various winery events over the last 20 years. Now in an official capacity Spencer will be based in Denver and will be working to support brand development with key accounts, enhance distributor relationships and focus on consumer facing activities in markets all over the country. Spencer is a graduate of the University of Colorado, Boulder, where, in addition to his studies, he worked for several years at the iconic Boulder Liquor Mart, focusing on beer and fine wine sales. He returned to California to work the 2014 harvest under the direction of Blair and Tyler, then spent the balance of the year honing his presentation skills as a full-time Tasting Room Consultant. After graduating in 2017, Spencer returned to Santa Barbara where he worked in the tap room at Third Window Brewing, which focuses on small batch, hand crafted beer. All of these experiences will serve him well as he embarks on his new position with Fess Parker Winery. Welcome aboard, Spencer!
