Simply Delicious Catering has been providing full-service catering and event coordination for more than 24 years serving the catering needs of the Raleigh, Durham, Creedmoor and Oxford areas. Specializing in events from corporate lunches to weddings, family reunions and everything in between, we ve built a solid reputation of creative and diverse menus with impeccable service for any size event. It isn t just simply delicious food we offer. Our dedicated team of professionals can work hand-in-hand with you to plan the perfect events. We are happy to provide complete party planning assistance free of charge when you work with us to cater your event. As a full-service caterer we are happy to provide servers, china and linens, floral arrangements, bar set-up and staffing as well as helping to set the tone and mood of your event through decorations and rentals. 4 Policy and Procedures Event Bookings Please place orders with Simply Delicious Catering via at or call us at We require all orders to be placed 5 business days prior to your event date. For events over 250 guests we require all orders to be placed 8 business days prior to your event date. However, Simply Delicious will try to accommodate all orders placed at any time according to our availabillity. Please note that there will be a $30 charge to your invoice for all events under 25 guests. Guarantee Guest Count When booking your event we will ask for the estimated head count for the number of guests attending your event. We will use the estimated head count to send a bid for your event. The guarantee number can change up to 48 hours (Mon. - Fri.) 8:30am to 5:00pm before your event date, but cannot fluctuate by more than 10% from the original guarantee. If there are no changes to the guest guarantee 48 hours in advance of the event, you will be invoiced for guest count given. We will make every effort to accommodate changes after this final count is set; however, we cannot guarantee availability of all items, and additional charges may apply. Billing Info All payments are due the day of the event, unless prior arrangements have been made. A bid will be sent to the client for approval and once approved the bid becomes an invoice. We accept cash, checks and all major credit cards. NC State and local Taxes are not included in menu pricing. If applicable, sales tax will be charged at the current NC Rate. You must notify us in advance if you have sales tax exempt status. All NC Sales Tax Exempt Certificates must be on file before any sales tax is removed. Finance charges will be applied to outstanding balances past due date. Staff Allowance All buffet service prices are based on (1) staff with a (1.5) hours time frame including set up and break down. Additional staff and time charged at a rate of $25/hour for each staff member this includes partial hours. For disposable ware, (1) staff is required for every (50) people. For Full China Service, (1) staff is required for every (25) people. All meals will be ready to serve 15 minutes prior to catering start time. Sales Tax All prices are subject to the current state and local taxes. Deposits For events of 100 or more guests, a deposit totaling 50% of the total invoice may be required. Service Pricing All pricing includes eco-friendly disposable silverware, tableware, and placemats. We provide standard white or black linens for buffet serving tables at no additional cost. Clients may request additional white or black linens for seating tables, registration tables, etc for $25 per linen. We offer a wide variety of linen colors for $30.00 per linen. China and silverware are available for $6.50 per person and include plates, glassware, flatware and linen napkins. Cancellation Policy An event can be canceled with no charges up to five (5) full business days prior to event date. Orders cancelled within 72 hours of delivery are subject to full charges. Simply Delicious Catering reserves the right to limit or cancel service due to availability of, and safety of, staff, both production and service, at no charge to you within 72 hours of event date. 5 Inclement Weather Policy If the University officially closes during adverse weather, or threat of impending inclement weather, the client will not incur any charges associated with their event. If the University remains open or has yet to officially close, but the client makes the decision to cancel their event for any weather-related reason, they will be required to inform the caterer 48 hours in advance for groups of less than 100 & 72 hours in advance for group of more than 100, to avoid any charges. If the client does not cancel within the designated time period, they are subject to be billed at the caterer s discretion based on costs incurred. All other scenarios will revert to the normal cancellation policy as stated in the menu. Leftover Food In accordance with the Wake County Health Department recommendations regarding food health & safety, it is the McKimmon Center Policy that all leftover food remains the property of the caterer & cannot be removed from the catered event space by the client. This policy is intended to limit the risk of food borne illness due to improper handling or storage of leftover food items. All leftover food & drink will be disposed of by the caterer at the conclusion of the meal function. Alcoholic We do not offer alcohol service at the Mckimmon Center. Catering Hours Anytime Monday - Saturday. Simply Delicious Catering is closed on Sundays. Page 5
