Andrew Wright is a Forest Manager and involved in much of the behind the scenes bits involved with the running of The Grove.

13 A little about us... The Grove is set up as a partnership between two local couples Andrew and Emma Doherty and Andrew and Sarah Wright. Andrew Doherty is the manager and Emma and Sarah also work here at The Grove. Andrew Wright is a Forest Manager and involved in much of the behind the scenes bits involved with the running of The Grove. Andrew and Emma live in Blackboys with their children Rebecca, Jacob, Martha and Evie. Andrew and Sarah live in East Hoathly with their children Esther and Benjamin. As Christians, both couples are actively involved in the local church New Life Church, Blackboys, and it has been our shared vision to create a new hub for the village of Blackboys and to provide a place where we can sell ethical, local and fresh produce. If you would like to know anything more about The Grove or New Life Church, please do ask one of our staff. We really hope that you are blessed by your time at The Grove. 14 Prayer of Blessing for Blackboys and Beyond (Adapted from the FFALD-Y-BRENIN-Friday Blessing) A simple prayer of blessing prayed by New Life Church Blackboys Heavenly Father, we take upon ourselves the authority that Jesus delegates to us and in His Name we speak to every home, household and business in Blackboys and say to you; We bless you in the name of the Lord. We bless your marriages that they may be strong and whole. We bless the relationship between each marriage partner that it may be loving, forgiving, merciful and strong. We bless every relationship between the generations, that there may be peace and love and understanding flowing between each one. We bless all who live in the area with joy and peace and hope, especially those who are elderly or lonely. In Jesus name we bless every network of wholesome and supportive friendship. We bless your health that you may be strong and well. In Jesus name we resist any sickness or disease which seeks to invade this area and to every person in the area we say, be well, be strong, be healthy. To any who are sick right now we say we bless you in Jesus name with speedy recovery. We bless your wealth that you may have plenty, enough to live and enough to give. We bless the work of your hands that whatever you turn your hand to which is wholesome may prosper and be successful. We bless the grass and crops of the fields and the trees of the woods that they may be healthy and productive throughout the year. We bless the flocks and the herds that they may be well and strong. We bless the local schools that they may be secure, safe place for teachers and pupils alike. We bless the children s capacity to learn and develop relationships. We speak to chapel and church and we say we bless you in the Name of the Lord that the Hol y Spirit and the Word of God may flow out from you in power. We bless the hearts of all who live in the area that you may be quickened to hear and respond to the Voice of the Living God. We bless all who live and work here, that the overspill of the blessings of the presence of the Kingdom of God may fall upon you.
