5 Tree View Cafe In June 2010 our tired Terrace café underwent a very stylish makeover and Tree View café was born. The new décor was tastefully designed to enhance the lovely leafy views we have, but it still had to be appealing to our customers, and most importantly comfortable. Customers often comment on how lovely & spacious our café is, and we re delighted to offer such an area where people can relax and unwind mid-shop, pop in and meet friends for coffee or even bring the whole family along for a delicious Sunday roast. We offer a great selection of drinks including our own coffee, designed for Barker s; our blend contains coffee from Sumatra, Brazil, Mocha, Columbia and India. For lighter morning or mid-afternoon snacks we have teacakes, toast or crumpets, homemade scones, tray bakes, biscuits and cake-lots of lovely cake! Also on the menu are healthy salads, quiche, sandwiches, jacket potatoes and paninis, the special changes daily and we offer hearty dishes of casserole, ham & eggs or steak and ale, oh and not forgetting our ever popular fish & chip Friday A new introduction for 2013 is our Sunday Roast premium cuts of meat roasted here in store, crispy roast potatoes, Yorkshire puddings to rival your granny s, onion gravy and a trio of fresh seasonal veg. We re a family business and we love to see families here shopping with us-that s why we also offer children s lunch boxes, and for those of you who work close by, why not pop in for a takeaway coffee and sandwich? JULY WE'RE NOW LICENSED TO SELL ALCOHOL! You can now relax with a chilled wine, beer or lager to accompany your lunch. You can even pre-order if you re pushed for time, call & ask for Tree View. Tree View is open 7 days a week, we serve from pm Monday to Saturday and 12 noon to 3.30pm every Sunday (Roasts are served until 3.00pm) We offer free parking to our customers and free Wi-Fi internet access.
