2 THE BISTRO AT THE BRUNTON How it all began.... The success story behind the Brunton Bistro began in 2006 when proprietors Norma Buchan and Zandra Borthwick, two friends from Musselburgh, extended their already blossoming outside catering business. They are passionate about delivering to the individual needs of their customers, creating a social hub for theatregoers, the community and visitors to the town. Norma and Zandra have surrounded themselves with a creative and talented team who pride themselves in delivering high quality cuisine and first class service within a warm, relaxed atmosphere whilst maintaining the personal touch which they have successfully captured. Fresh local produce, all cooked to order. We take delivery of Haddock and Salmon each morning from or fishmonger. We home bake three dozen scones daily, not forgetting two large pots of heart-warming freshly made old favourites and contemporary soups. Our home baker compliments us with treats to be savoured; her themed homemade empire biscuits are delightful or why not truly indulge in one of her fresh cream meringues?
