11 Die boer. die bobbejane en die uiebedding Oom ohan Visser as 'n groeteboer van Kuilsrivier omge ing. Later het hy afgetree by die see en sy seunskinders het aangegaan met die boerdery. Jy kan die boer van die plaas afvat, maar jy kan die boer nie uit die man uitvat nie. Klits die eiers en melk en voeg dit by. Werk alles liggies met die vingers deur tot dit 'n stywe deeg vorm. Rol die deeg ongeveer 2,5cm dik uit, voer twee borde daarmee uit en strooi meel daaroor. Bedek met 'n droë doek. Maak nou die melkpap: 375 ml (1 1 / 2 k) meelblom 250ml (1 k) melk 15ml (1 E) mielieblom nog 1 l melk 375ml (1 1 / 2 k) suiker 250g botter 8 eiers, geskei 15 ml (1 E) vanieljegeursel Meng die meel, mielieblom en suiker. Klits die eiergele en die koppie melk saam en hou eenkant. Verhit die liter melk en smelt die botter daarin. Voeg die vanieljegeursel by.
