As part of its ongoing commitment to the environment, Harrah s Rincon is celebrating Earth Week by collecting and recycling all kinds of electronic waste, including such items as computer monitors, LCD monitors, computer towers, printers, TVs, radios, stereos, fax machines, telephones, cell phones, portable DVD and CD players, copiers, microwaves, and VCRs. You can drop off your unwanted electronics between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. in the Employee Parking Lot, located on the north side of the resort (just check out the directional signage). FOOD AND BEVERAGE Easter Sunday Specials April 8 th Give the cook a break on Easter Sunday and enjoy the fabulous Easter brunch being served at the Buffet at Harrah s. The incredible variety of dishes includes breakfast fare such as prepared-to-order eggs and omelets, Eggs Benedict, Scrambled Eggs with Tomato and Chives, Bacon and Sausage, Spring Quiche, Potatoes O Brien, Belgian Waffles served with Fruit Compote and Maple Syrup, Fresh Sliced and Whole Fruits, Assorted Muffins, Coffee Cakes, Breakfast Breads, Scones, and Danish. Executive Chef Jon Palsson has created a delectable Easter dinner menu that starts with an Oyster Shooter, followed by your choice of a garden vegetable salad composed of Local Baby Micro-Greens and a Creamy Walnut Vinaigrette or a Spinach Salad served with Prosciutto, Aged Goat-Milk Gouda, Pine Nuts and a Balsamic Grand Marnier Dressing. Then choose from one of the following exquisitely prepared main courses: a special Surf & Turf consisting of an 8-ounce Certified Angus Beef Filet Mignon served with White Asparagus and Yukon Gold Potato Puree, Japanese Mushrooms, Cognac and Peppercorn-Jus, plus Crispy Lobster served with a Citrus Emulsion. If your taste runs to seafood, you can select the Alaskan Halibut with King Crab Tempura a filet of Alaskan Halibut topped with the world s finest King crab and saffron and accompanied by a Serrano and Burrata Risotto Cake and Local Root Vegetables. Fiore is open from 5:30-9 p.m. on Easter Sunday and reservations are recommended.
