October luncheon This month s luncheon was held at the Aransas Pass Civic Center with the topic being, Texas Oil & Gas Industry Outlook. Our special guest speaker was Mr. Luke Legate, G. Fox Consulting Director. Among the guests were Mr. Luis Buentello representing Congressman Blake Farenthold. Texas Now Magazine showcased their colorful magazines, giving one to each guest as a gift. Luncheon was catered by Marco & Co. of Corpus Christi. Great times happen at mixers! Thank you Yacht Club and Fuller Fitness for hosting successful networking mixers. Members had the opportunity to visit and network with each other enjoying refreshments and delicious foods.

4 Our 1 st Annual Toast & Taste of Aransas Pass was a marvelous success! Local restaurants and caterers provided a variety of delicious food and pastries! Food, desserts, cold drinks, raffles, hula dancers, all in one room! The entertainment was of great pleasure, three lovely ladies of The Pacific Islanders gave a beautiful Hawaiian Polynesian show. They were the center of attention hula dancing and asking guests to participate! *Mac s Pit Barbecue, of Rockport, served sausage and sliced tender barbecue brisket on a delicious bun. *Little I s Snow Cones & Treats, of Ingleside, supplied our guests fruit trays, a pineapple filled with fresh fruits, and tamarindo flavored apples. *L&F Distributors served imported beer and different flavored Copa Divino wine. *Blackbeard's Too, of Ingleside, spiced up guests with seafood queso & char-grilled shrimp. *Sweet Pea Confections, of Aransas Pass, filled a table top with mini cupcakes in a variety of flavors. *Dairy Queen, of Aransas Pass, made guests smile with their famous crispy tacos filled with beef, tomatoes, and lettuce. *H.E.B., of Aransas Pass, had assorted cakes and cookies, plus an array of gourmet cheese on crackers. *Bakery Café, of Aransas Pass, sure did please guests with their mouth-watering chicken fried steak and famous bread pudding. *Redfish Willie's Waterfront Grill, of Aransas Pass, served hot shrimp and lobster bisque in a cup and delicious mini cupcakes topped with red icing. *Beauty & the Bistro, of Corpus Christi, had succulent roasted garlic pork loin with fresh baked rolls. That table was a sure stop! *Carmella s Homemade Candy & Treats, of Aransas Pass, wowed the crowd with her homemade assortment of chocolate bars, caramel popcorn, and gourmet coffee in a variety of flavors for the enjoyment of our guests.
