3 2 ABOUT THE ESSAR CENTRE The Essar Centre is the only facility of its kind in Northern Ontario. It serves as one of the finest venues for sporting events, community events, entertainment, trade shows, conferences, meetings and much more. Four special event rooms provide the ability to host a vast array of activities including corporate meetings, banquets, receptions, birthday/anniversary parties, wedding rehearsal dinners, showers, holiday gatherings, training functions and much more! There is a full service kitchen located on the event level offering an extensive range of food services as well as five main concessions in the building to provide a variety of catering options for your gathering. All areas of the Essar Centre are fully accessible. THE ANGELO BUMBACCO ROOM The premier special events room at the Essar Centre located in the north end of the event level. The space can accommodate a variety of different set up styles to ensure the appropriate environment and theme for your event is showcased. (see set up styles on page 4) The full room provides ample space for larger events and meetings accommodating up to 100 people for a formal banquet-style event. A convenient retractable wall divides the space into two great rooms for more intimate gatherings.
