Dating back to 1802, the venue was once a store for vast quantities of rum, sugar and molasses from the West Indies, a past that resonates through the building. This sense of history creates a perfect setting for a themed party which gives that special Winter Wonderland feeling. The Museum of London Docklands is an incredibly popular venue for Christmas parties for dinners for up to 150 guests and receptions for people. The museum is located on West India Quay, just moments from Canary Wharf. Your Christmas party Guests will enter through the stunning Muscovado Hall, resplendent with gleaming oak and a welcoming sense of festivity. Sparkling wine will be offered on arrival before a delicious menu is served in the adjacent Sugar Store, amid original pine columns and floors. Then, there s the chance to dance the night away! For a truly unique experience the drinks reception can be served in one of the museum s galleries, including the evocative Sailortown, with its winding street of old shops and cosy tavern. You can also bring your party to life with the additional hire of actors and actresses to set the scene and mingle with your guests.
