Honey Island Swamp Tour You can now enjoy some of the richest wildlife stretches of the river and of Honey Island... all from the comfort of a tour boat! You may see the alligator, red wolf, deer...there have even been sightings of the Florida cougar! Many species of exotic birds also make their homes in this swamp...an active bald eagle nest has occupied the swamp dating back to 1910! Those touring Honey Island can easily see why Louisiana is known as Fisherman's Paradise. Local fisherman usually catch the bluegill, redear sunfish, largemouth bass, and warmouth; but fish found in this swamp also include the alligator gar, flathead catfish, freshwater drum, and buffalo fish. Lunch Buffet at Speckled T's Their restaurant is truly southern grown. Their menus are specialized morefor the local Cajun-Creole cuisine foodie, but we also have a flare for many traditional items such as steaks, seafood,and classic Italian entrées. Speckled T's will provide a "buffet style" men including 8 hot items, soup, salad, a variety of dessets, soda and tea. They are providing a menu for us to look over, and will make changes based upon out needs. Audubon Butterfly Garden and Insectarium is an insectarium and entomology museum in New Orleans, Louisiana, United States. With more than 50 live exhibits and numerous multimedia elements, the 23,000-square-foot facility is the largest free-standing American museum dedicated to insects. The Butterfly Garden and Insectarium opened on June 13, In 2009, it was awarded the Thea Award for Outstanding Achievement in a Science Center.

Audubon Aquarium of the Americas - Part of the Audubon Nature Institute complex, it is located on the first floor of the U.S. Custom House Federal Building. Located on the Mississippi River adjacent to the French Quarter Audubon Aquarium of the Americas immerses you in an underwater world. The colors of a Caribbean reef come alive in our walk-through tunnel, while our penguins and Southern sea otters enchant you with their antics. Touch a sting ray, and marvel at our gigantic sharks, tarpon, and rays There will be time for a quick snack before your next activity Two Hour History of Jazz Walking Tour Enjoy a 2 hour History of Jazz WalkingTour that will explore the world s richest musical city, starting with a rare inside look at the legendary Preservation Hall.Visit the site of the Old French Opera House and stroll through the Tango Belt and May Bailey s before arriving at thetreme section. Enter historic St. Louis Cemetery #1 to see the New Orleans Musicians Tomb, the use of which was donated by Fats Domino. There have been animals at this site since the 1884 World Exposition in Audubon Park. Today, Audubon Zoo is 58 acres of animals in their natural habitats. The Zoo consistently ranks among this country s best. Admission to Preservation Hall Enjoy a night of music at Preservation Hall, located in the French Quarter, just three blocks from the Mississippi River. The Hall has served many functions over the years. Originally built as a private residence in 1750, the hall has evolved into a tavern, inn, photo studio and an art gallery. The inside of the hall contains portraits of the musicians who first filled it with the beautiful sounds of New Orleans Jazz. Tujague's is the second oldest restaurant in New Orleans, and favorite of locals and visitors in the French Quarter. In existence before "New Orleans" even bore its name, and having served as a Spanish armory, Tujague s restaurant has survived decades of war, depression, fire and plague to bring you a tradition of culinary excellence undiminished today.
