1 Queensland State Championships 2018 Regatta Bulletin There are no dogs or other domestic animals permitted at Wyaralong Dam. This is a SEQwater ruling, not a Rowing Qld one. Please leave your pets at home. There are no tents permitted in the Boat Park. All club/school/athlete tents are to be set up at the top of the headland in the allocated areas. Do not walk along the Wyaralong Dam Access Road. If you are walking between the headlands, please use the pedestrian route shown in the attached maps. Do not stop your vehicle along the Wyaralong Dam Access Road. Proceed to a car park and walk from there. Do not stop outside the headland to pick up/drop off. Proceed to a car park and unload from there. Car Parking: Car parks are shown on the attached maps. Parking is a first come, first served situation. If a car park is full, move on to the next one. Catering: The local team from Dave s Deli in Boonah will be catering the three days of the event. There will be breakfast, lunch, snacks, baked goods, fruit, coffee and cold drinks available, as well as EFTPOS facilities. A menu has been attached to this Bulletin. Merchandise: The Regatta Shop will be in attendance selling event merchandise and other clothing. They can be found at the Western end of the headland, next to the catering tent shown in the maps attached to this bulletin.

2 Weigh-ins, Bow Numbers, Substitutions, Scratchings etc: Can all be found at the Regatta Secretary s office, located at the Eastern end of the headland shown in the maps attached to this bulletin. Trailer Access: The Rowing Qld Headland will be open to trailers at these times: - 12pm 6pm, Thursday 18 th January - 7am 6pm, Friday 19 th January am 8am, Saturday 20 th January The headland may only be accessed by vehicles towing trailers. All other vehicles are to park in the designated car parks. Once on the headland, vehicles are to remain parked. Unnecessary driving around the headland causes a safety hazard, as well as damage to the road. Trailer Parking: Trailers will remain parked on the Rowing Qld Headland for the whole event. Please see a Rowing Qld staff member (not Servo) for direction as to where to park your trailer. Tent Sites: All club/school tent sites are allocated. Do not set up any tents or equipment outside of your designated area. If you are unsure of where your club/school site is located, please see a Rowing Qld staff member (not Servo) for direction. Temperature: It will be hot this weekend. Cold drinks can be purchased from the Catering Tent, however please bring your own ice as there will not be any available for purchase. Drones: Rowing Queensland with QAS and QUT are undertaking an extremely exciting UAV and software project. At its completion, we will have software that drone footage can be run through and give coaches a range of information from the race. During Friday afternoon and Saturday morning QUT will have UAV's in the air collecting footage for writing and testing the software. This footage will not be unloaded anywhere or used for any other purpose other than writing and testing the software.
