3 Auction Rules Silent Auction- *Bidder is to write their bid number and name along with the amount of the bid on the bid sheet. *New bids must be written on the first available line on the bid sheet *Minimum bids will be indicated on the bid sheets. Whole dollar amounts must be used for all bids Unless otherwise indicated. If you bid less than the minimum amount, your bid may be cancelled *The Silent Auction will close at 8:45 pm The highest bid at closing time constitutes the winning bid * On the buy it now table, any bid at the maximum price closes bidding and guarantees you that item. * Please do not remove any baskets or items from the tables. Present your receipt to the table runner to receive your basket. All items must be paid for and removed from the building at the close of the event. *Unless otherwise indicated, all auction items and services must be used before June 1st 2014 *All sales are final. Auction items have been donated or solicited by members and friends of the church and my not be exchanged or refunded. Please read any restrictions or limitations carefully before bidding *All items are sold as is John Knox Presbyterian Church makes no representation or warranty of any kind with respect to these items or services. * Payment is to be made by cash Visa/Mastercard or checks made payable to John Knox Presbyterian Church *The cashier tables will be open at 8:15 pm. Please go to the cashier tables displaying your bid number. The cashier will have the names and numbers of all baskets and items you have purchased and the total amount due. Your patience in greatly appreciated *It is the responsibility of the purchaser to contact the service provider to make arrangements for use of purchased items or services. If you have questions please call the church at and speak to Dave Roberts. Live Auction- *The highest bidder acknowledged by the auctioneer will be the winner. Please show your bid number clearly when bidding. *During the bidding, if you do not understand what the bid amount is, please interrupt the auctioneer for clarification. *If you are acknowledged as the winning bidder, the auctioneer will repeat the amount of your bid. This is the time to clarify any confusion over the winning bid amount. Once the auctioneer has moved onto the next item, the item is officially SOLD.
