Get to know your team-mates at the sayonara party and maybe discuss your tactics, before you put your own skills and adaptability to the test and compete to win in the brand new Sugo Mixed competition.

The high quality meals come in an individual takeaway box and includes Japanese green tea or regular coffee and has to be pre-ordered with your application, no later than 21 April A vegetarian option is available both days. Meny Saturday Chicken Teriyaki on a bed of sushi rice. Served with pickles and salad. Meny Sunday Japanese Chili & Ginger Beef served with rice, pickles and salad. Meny - Vegetarian Option (both days) Korokke - fried Japanese potato croquettes, served with rice, pickles and salad. Dishes can be replaced with a comparable option without notice KENDO CAFÉ The café is open both days, selling espresso, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, biscuits, sandwiches, hot dogs, juices, energy drinks, sodas, nuts and sweets and more. SAYONARA PARTY The Sayonara party will be held on Saturday, at the popular Asian restaurant Rose Garden, located in central Malmo, offering a big Asian style buffet. Venue closes at Hall 2: This year there is a separate hall open all day for warm up and free keiko. This hall is in direct connection with the main hall. 5 The Keiko venue is within walking distance to local food shops, cafe s, bars and restaurants. COMPETITION RULES Open-class: minimum 18 years, from 1 Dan* + 4 semi-finalists from kyu competition.* Kyu-class: minimum 18 years, upto 1 kyu (semi finalists are allowed to compete in the Dan-class) * Juniors class: minimum 14 years upto 17 years, no grade restrictions* (*age on the day of competition) Mixed team competition, minimum 18 years, from 1st kyu! 3 Minute Matches up to ¼-Finals. ¼ Finals-Finals Matches are 5 Minutes except in the mixed team competition where all matches are 3 minute matches. 6 PRACTICAL INFORMATION The competition venue is located within easy reach from all of Malmö, which is within easy reach of Sturup Airport (MMX) and Copenhagen Airport, Kastrup (CPH). The venue has multiple dressing rooms and toilet facilities for both Men and Women competitors, and is within walking distance to local food shops, cafe s, bars and restaurants. The venue for the Sayonara party is located in Malmo City Centre, very close to bars, clubs and pubs for those who wish to sample the pulsating nightlife of Malmo. Copenhagen is approx. a 20 minute train ride away and costs approx. 100SEK each way. If you have questions about the city, transport or other things, the Malmö Kendo team is available to help. 7 A large number of kendokas from the Swedish national team will be present at the competition, and the support-organisation Friends of will be selling the national team s specially designed tenegui to raise funds for practice on their journey towards the World Championships in Japan 2015.
