2 Gourmand-listed restaurant that will be served under the arches of this historic destination include Egg Foie Gras, Angus Beef with Heart Attack Fried Rice, and an exclusive The Pier Hokkien Mee. Having remembered dining at the Clifford Pier as a young boy, Mr Pang created the dish from sentimental memory, with a mix of white and yellow noodles, dark savoury gravy, liver and crispy lard. The dishes will be part of the set lunch, set dinner and a la carte menus. Priced from S$26* per dish. Available from 1 August to 31 August 2018 at The Clifford Pier. At The Fullerton Hotel Singapore, calligraphist Clarence Wee from Craft Varies puts his beautiful penmanship to blank slates at the The Courtyard s Chocolate Buffet. Catch him in residence on 28 July and 11 August by having him write a special message in chocolate, then plating up your own bespoke creation with the decadent treats on display. More chocolate goodness can be had with a Milo Zero Mocktail, created specially to mark the Fullerton Building s 90 th anniversary. Drink up a tall glass of cold milk topped with lashings of Milo powder and crunchy cereal. The Fullerton Hotel Singapore has also joined hands with ice cream purveyor Creamier. Enjoy Asian-inspired flavours in our heritage building, such as Sea Salt Gula Melaka, Thai Iced Milk Tea, Pulut Hitam and Kaya Toast which like a new range of savouries all form part of the comprehensive Chocolate Buffet. Priced at S$45* per person and S$22* per child, the Chocolate Buffet takes place every Friday and Saturday, from 8.00 p.m. to p.m. with Clarence Wee in residence on 28 July and 11 August 2018 only. Catch third-generation hawker, Michael Ker from Kway Guan Huat Joo Chiat Original Popiah & Kueh Pie Tee for another stint at Town Restaurant from 30 July to 9 August. This is Ker s third guest chef stint at The Fullerton Hotel, where he was part of the hotel s River Hawker Festival and the Young Hawker series previously. He will provide an insight into his family s trade of crafting kueh pie tee and authentic popiah painstakingly by hand. Ker s skill was refined by watching his father, who insists that the best popiah skin is made only by hand. The buffet also includes a local spread with favourites such as Laksa (rice vermicelli in spicy coconut gravy), as well as Town Restaurant s famous Hainanese Chicken Rice, which has earned its reputation as one of the best chicken rice in Town.
