3 OUR STORY Huckleberry Bakery & Café, like the other restaurants in our group, is owned and operated by Josh Loeb and Zoe Nathan, who are both local, having been born and raised in Santa Monica. Josh and Zoe fell in love while working together in their nearby restaurant, Rustic Canyon. Both long shared a desire to open a local, artisan bakery and café where friends, family and enthusiastic food lovers could come together and eat delicious food in a warm, casual atmosphere. Everything served at Huckleberry is made on site, using the best quality ingredients, including organic flour and pantry staples, Valrhona chocolate and farmers market produce. Executive Chef & Partner Erin Eastland (also Exec Chef at Milo & Olive) collaborates with Zoe in keeping the savory menu full of options that are fresh from the farm. Laurel Almerinda, RC Family Bakery Director of Operations, also works with Zoe to keep the pastry cases at Huckleberry bursting at the seams with seasonal and fun sweet treats. Our full-scale catering services are perfect for gatherings of any size, whether it s for daily office orders, parties or holiday celebrations.
