It is in Gragnano, where nature created the ideal environment for pasta production and drying, that the tradition of durum wheat pasta has a history of more that five centuries. Garofalo pasta is made with the highest quality durum wheat semolina, so when you smell it, it has the color and aroma of wheat. Each pasta shape is different and Garofalo knows that well. This is why each cut is processed individually with artisan knowledge, giving it its own specific taste. There are no secret ingredients, just full disclosure. The flower s sweet fragrance of honey and vanilla has captivated the inhabitants of the Alsace region for generations. Recently this delicate flower has seen global acclaim, finding its way into some of the world s best kitchens as well as into craft cocktail bars utilizing St. Germain.
