April and May outdoors.approx. seed count: 250 Carrot Romance F Thisis a very popular and most attractive carrot. It grows very uniformly and performs well in most soil conditions. Carrot Romance F1 yields blunt tipped carrots with deep orange roots. Resists cracking and is very sweet tasting. It is an early Nantes type and stores well. Sow individual seeds into small pots (7cm) or large modules and keep in a warm place. Pot on into a 10cm pot when ready. Plant out in late May-June after hardening off. Initial protection with a cloche is beneficial.approx. seed count: 10 Courgette Parador Attractive, shiny golden-yellow fruits with a wonderful nutty flavour and texture. Harvest regularly throughout the summer. Sowing: Mid April until late May. Approx. seed count: 7 Cress Fine Curled Cress - Fine Curled is the easiest and fastest salad to grow with a slightly spicy taste. Sowing: Sprinkle seeds thickly over a thin layer of compost. Do not cover the seeds. Grow indoors in a pot all year round.ready to harvest in two to three weeks. Approx. seed count: 1500 sds Cucumber Bella F Cucumber - Bella F1 is an all female greenhouse variety which produces good yields of long fruits with a superb cucumber flavour. Pot on into a 10cm pot when ready. Plant into greenhouse or polytunnel. Approx. seed count: 5 Cucumber Passandra 2.80 Passandra produces high quality medium sized (15cm) cucumbers. 8 Dill Dukat Dill is dillicious. Dukat is the best variety for leaf production. If you buy plain dill seeds they are likely to bolt much quicker as the plants are meant for producing dill seeds. Sowing: Directly or in modules late March until August. Approx. seed count: 200 Fennel, Florence Rondo F1 Rondo is an early, high yielding variety. Very high quality with rounded white bulbs. Highly resistant to bolting. Performs well under glass or polytunnel. Sowing: May-July in modules. Plant out 4-5 weeks later. Approx. seed count: 20 Green Manure Phacelia 2.50 Phacelia is my favourite summer green manure. As the German name 'Bee's Friend' shows it is also one of the best plants for attracting beneficial wildlife.sowing: From late March to September.Sprinkle the seeds over a finely raked soil.cover 7 square metres. Kaibroc Kaibroc F1 is a new development in broccoli. It is a unique and delicious vegetable which has been brought about by crossing Broccoli with Kailan. This produces a crunchy vegetable with slender, long shoots which are sweet tasting. Grown for it's delicious crunchy and slender stems with small edible florets. Sowing: Early April - late June. Approx. seed count: 20 Kale Nero di Toscana This is the kale that chefs rave about. It has dark green lanceolate shaped leaves. Looks a bit like a palm tree. Can be harvested throughout the winter. Pods are carried in clusters of two and can be harvested over a longer period of time. Excellent taste and yield. 14 Pea, Mangetout Shiraz The attractive bicoloured flowers of Mangetout Pea 'Shiraz' form stunning flat, purple pods that are best harvested young and eaten raw, steamed or added to stir fries. The purple pods are rich in healthy anthocyanin (antioxidant) pigment, although the colour will fade to dark green when pods are steamed or boiled. With powdery mildew resistance and good tolerance to downy mildew. Sowing:April to June.
